Kim's p.o.v
I closed the door behind the officers and walked to the kitchen. I plugged my IPod into the IHome and started washing the dishes Wretched and Divine: The Story Of The Wild Ones started to play. My IPhone started blasting out "Grand Theft Autumn", which meant Patrick was calling me. I lowered the volume and picked up the call, a smile on my face. "Hello, handsome," I purred.
"Hey," I heard Patrick's voice over the phone. "Are you okay at home?"
I smiled sat on the counter and blushed. We've been dating for almost a year now and he still can make me blush like a high school teen with a mad crush. "I'm fine, Pattycakes. I'm a big girl," I said, then pouted. "But this big girl wants her big teddy bear."
"I'm at Walmart, Kimmiekins with Pete. I should be home soon. Just wait for me, princess," Patrick said. In the background, I heard Pete yell, "Hi, lil' sis!"
"Hi, Peter Pan!" I said. "Take me to Neverland!"
"But you're not Wendy!" he joked.
"I'm anyone I want to be," I replied back.
I got off the counter and turned around only to see a streak of black pass by the window quickly. I squinted and blinked my eyes, but saw nothing, I shrugged and continued washing the dishes. "Buy me something, baby?" I asked.
"I will, princess I promise," Patrick said.
I felt a chill go down my back and I turned around. For some reason, I had a feeling that I wasn't alone. The air temperature went down rapidly and the water mysteriously stopped. "What the hell?" I mumbled, I tried turning the water back on, but it wouldn't budge. Behind me, the windows and patio doors slammed shut and locked itself. That's not freaky at all.
"Um, how long do you think you'll be home?" I asked Patrick, looking around.
"I'd say about ten, fifteen minutes," Patrick replied.
"Get home now, Patrick! Hurry!" I yelled.
"Kim, are you okay?" Patrick asked me.
I sighed and turned around, only to see a pale girl with long brunette hair and wore a strapless white dress. I screamed and ran up the stairs, slamming the door behind me. "Kim? Kim! What happened? Are you okay?" Patrick asked me frantically.
"No, I'm not okay, Come home!" I cried.
I heard the sink faucet and shower turn on, and slowly crept to the bathroom. The steam filled the bathroom and clouded the mirror. Mysteriously, two letters were written on the mirror, and I was able to make out initals that read "A.W." The phone sizzled in my ear then shut off. "Patrick? Patrick!" I shouted. The room was cold and I looked out in the bedroom to see the windows slam itself shut. I ran out and tried to open the windows, but it didn't budge. I ran to the door and tried to open it, but it was locked shut. I slowly backed away from the door, panting heavily. I turned around and my face was centimeters away from the pale girl's face.
Then darkness.
Patrick's p.o.v
"Kim? Kim, are you there?" I asked in the phone.
"What happened?" Pete asked me.
I stared at my phone in confusion and stuffed it in my pocket. "Not sure. the connection went out," I said. I purchased my items then walked out with bags in my hand. "She was screaming and everything, like she was dying." I loaded the trunk with the groceries and we got in the car. I turned it on and we drove off back home. "Hope she's okay," Pete said. I nodded and continued to drive back home. We soon parked in the driveway and I rushed to the door unlocking it.
