I was so happy going to school the next day. My perfect, wonderful, sweet boyfriend loved me. And I loved him.
It was like a fairytale. Or it was the ending to a beautiful romance novel. Girl changes boy. Girl and boy fall in love. Girl and boy live happily ever after.
Sounds nice, right?
I walked through the hallway doors, and people immediately started staring at me.
Word probably got out that I Harry was a changed man and very much in love with me.
Students from the school newspaper, the one that I recently quit because of Janet, were handing out the latest edition.
Everyone was holding a copy and reading the front page, but I refused to take one. That would be helping out Janet, and I wasn't really into that.
I saw Liam leaning against the locker, reading the front page intently. Walking over to him, I lean against the locker beside him.
"Hey Liam," I greeted.
He looked up at me for a second, shook his head, and walked away.
That was odd...
I thought we were good now, and he gave me and Harry his blessing...
"Liam?" I asked.
He ignored me and just kept walking. Okay, that's really strange...
I spotted Louis and Zayn reading one newspaper, their heads close to one another, trying to get a good look at the article. Okay, what is so great about this newspaper?
"Hey guys," I said, going over to them.
Maybe they'd be able to tell me why Liam was acting so strange.
Zayn looked up at me and stared. Louis narrowed his eyes with a look of disgust.
Okay what the HELL was happening?
"Guys, what's wrong?" I asked.
"Like you don't know," Louis scoffed.
"I don't!" I told him.
"Oh please, Blake," Zayn spat.
"Guys, what the hell?"
"No, what the hell is wrong with you?" Louis raised his voice. People were starting to stare, but evidently, none of them seemed to care.
"Okay, can we go somewhere else?" I asked.
"Come on, Blake. It's no secret anymore," Zayn said. "I just – I have to ask why you did that? I mean, no one deserves this!"
My stomach dropped. What the fuck were they talking about?
"I know he did something like that in the past, but I honestly thought you were better than that. I thought you were actually trying to help him," Louis lectured.
They both looked so disappointed in me.
"Guys, I – I don't know what you're talking about," I insisted.
The only thing I could think of was the assignment. But, I was no longer on the paper. I didn't even write an article –
My eyes widened with fear as I snatched up their copy. I looked down in horror, as the title read:
Breaking the Unbreakable: The downfall of Harry Styles
I looked farther down the page to see:
By Blake Davis
