Darci's POV.
I opened one eye, looking grumpily at the time. It's 8:30 in the morning. And it's a Monday. Who even invented Monday? Who even decided making the weekend three days shorter than the school days was a good idea? Because I bet you, this person regretted it, because he or she would've had to deal with it like the rest of us did. Ugh...........wait a minute. I sat up, groaning as there was a pain in my rib. AHHHH I HATE DEMONS, ESPECIALLY THE ONE THAT KICKED ME IN THE RIBS LAST NIGHT. Ga roan. But now wasn't the time to go cursing at some demon that's already dead. Now was the time to wake up your annoying 12 year old twin sisters, Pandora and Mackenzie, and get to school before we get into trouble.

" MAC, PAN, WAKE UP!" I yelled, and I was irritated when the reply was, " five more minutes."

I grumbled and stormed towards their bedroom, which they shared. There, were two beds, one purple and the other one aqua. And in both of them, were two girls, each of them tucked underneath their covers. I sighed in exasperated before walking back, getting some ice, and throwing it into their covers. That made them wake up.

" WHAT THE FISHSTICKS?!"

Out, jumped the two, very annoying, twin sisters of mine. The one that jumped out of the aqua cover, was Pan, with a aqua dyed streaked hair on her left side, And the other one, who jumped out of the purple cover, was Mac, with a purple streak of hair on her right side. Both had brown hair and brown eyes, with of course, the signature Warbrook freckles.

" Time to move, we have 15 minutes to get to school, and unlike you two, I LIVE FAR AWAY FROM MY SCHOOL," I yelled, " so get dressed, eat breakfast, AND LET'S GO."

" Ugh, is she on her period?" Pan groaned, the twin who was more loud and more bubbly.

" Don't know. Probs," Mac replied, the other twin who was more cunning and witty. Both combined, and we have a mixture for disaster. Gosh, I'm so proud of them.

" Now, would be a good time," I said, and they stood up and both gave a mock salute.
" Yes ma'am!"

I walked into the bathroom to tame my hair and looked at myself. I had longish length, hazel hair and hazel eyes, paired with of course, many freckles. There was a pink streak on my right side of my hair. I combed or more liked yanked my hair into a pony tail where my streak was quite visible, before putting on a dark grey hoodie and some galaxy leggings. I looked to see my necklace, and grinned at how many fights we've been through.

The sword could be enlarged by magic, to help me fight but right now, it was just a simple, small amulet. It was a crystal sword with multiple colours shining through it and a silver hilt and handle. No one knew the Warbrook secret except people who were apart of the Warbrook Lineage and that is we are pixies. Pixies who can use different kinds of magic to aid us in fighting off demons. Fighting demons was a job of mine so I can afford the apartment me and my sisters were staying in, since, our parents died in a fight. Nonetheless, I still hate my job of fighting every single school night. Yeah, my job sucks.

I walked into our kitchen, seeing Pan dressed in an aqua jumper, black leggings and green converses, her brown hair in a plait with her green streak, and Mac in a black long sleeved shirt with a purple tee shirt over it it, along with black leggings and purple converses, with her brown hair in a loose bun with her purple streak. Yeah, here in the Warbrook family, we like converses. They were eating a bowl of cereal quickly while I grabbed some yogurt, oatmeal and a spoon, before putting the yogurt and oatmeal into a container so I can eat at school. There were three lunch boxes on the bench, made last night. One pink, one purple and one aqua. Guess which one's which.

" Alright Pan, Mac, remember to walk safely and if any strangers try to abduct you...."

" Run away," they replied.
