'ELLO EVERYONE, YOU'RE FAVOURITE ( probably not ha) IS HERE WITH ANOTHER ONE OF HER RARE UPDATES! I managed to you know....spend some time writing this. And then there was that girl in class who was sitting next to me while staring at me like a weirdo when I was writing this. She was like, " We're suppose to be learning about the Medieval Era, the Dark Ages, the Battle of Hastings, THE LOT, AND YOU'RE WRITING A STUPID CHAPTER?!" and I just looked at her like, " bish I do what I want when I want." XD No, I just kinda shifted away from her and kept on typing.

Anyways, I am very happy with this Chapter, and I sure hope some of you will like it! ALSO, THANK YOU GUYS, 290 VIEWS????? It's crazy, really crazy, I just have to thank you guys because you still read this story even though I almost never update. Thanks. BUT, WITHOUT FURTHER ADO, HERE'S THE NEXT CHAPTER.

Darci's POV
We ran like there was tomorrow. Heck, there will be no tomorrow if I don't get to the association quickly enough.

" ASHFORD, MY LIFE IS ON THE LINE, CAN YOU HURRY UP?" I yelled, as I jumped over a fence swiftly, before jumping over another wall to another street path. To be fair, I've met the Northern Director,.........and may have thrown an apple at him accidentally. Ha, I remember that. I was trying to viciously throw an apple at Vince's head for pissing me off....and then he managed to dodge it with his Vision magic, causing the apple to face plant onto the Northern Director's face. That was a fun day. Vincent couldn't help laughing his ass off.

I skidded across the corner and dashed towards what I could tell was the association building. Thank the pixies everything in this town was somewhat one kilometre away from everything.

" Come on Ashford, I gotta make it look like we weren't running for our lives so that the Northern Director doesn't question my already epic guarding skills," I ordered, flattening my bird next like hair, " what would he say if I made the prince run so that we could save my ass."

" Is he that scary?" Hunter asked, straightening his leather jacket.

" Well, if he wanted to, he could completely destroy my life as a demon slayer and then I wouldn't be able to earn money which means me and the twins won't be able to do anything really," I explained, pursing my lips as I tugged my hoodie into place.

Hunter looked at me with wide eyes, not believing that someone would do that.

" But then you guys would...."

" Yeah, we would have to go to an orphanage and then we would most likely get split up in different families," I continued, " but really, I never once thought of sucking up to him."

" How come, he holds your fate in his hands?" Hunter asked, frowning in confusion. I looked at him with a raised eyebrow with an, ' are you serious dude?' expression.

" First off, my fate is my own, no one else's, and secondly, the Northern Director hates cowards and weaklings. To be honest, he's been trying to get me to move into his association since I'm one of the stronger hunters, and I'm still young."

" Then why don't you?"

" Because this is where mum and dad lived," I replied, brushing some dust off my hoodie, " also, Xavier was a friend of them, and this town has epic food shops."

" Where are your parents?" Hunter continued to question.

" They're dead," I bluntly replied, " they died saving me and my sisters from a blood thirsty Envy demon."

That sure shut up Hunter, as he kept his mouth shut very tightly.

" Sorry," he mumbled. I waved my hand dismissively and rolled my shoulders back.
