The kiss was a bit sloppy as their lips lingered for a few seconds.

Both their hearts were now thumping so hard it was as if it was running a 1km run.

Neither had a plan to break the kiss when at that moment, a loud knocking on their door made the two break apart, and stood upright, a bit tipsy.

They both stand awkwardly, blushing furiously while avoiding eye contact and looking at the door.

"Honey? It's 1:00 in the morning. Don't you both have plans to sleep?" Scott had to shout, due to the loudness of the storm.

Taylor, who was momentarily stunned, finally found her voice.

"U-uh actually we are going to sleep now. We were just..."

Taylor drifted off racking her brain for an alibi.

Well, we had a massive pillow fight then we just kissed... Didn't we?

Taylor blushed even more with that thought.

"Getting ready for bed, d-dad." Taylor quickly covered, meeting Karlie's eyes who has one eyebrow raised with a playful smile on her lips.

Getting ready for bed huh? I thought... Oh, shut up Karlie, that's never gonna happen.

"Oh, okay honey. You two get some rest now, then." Scott answered heading back, leaving the two wrapped up with their thoughts.

Both girls sigh in relief as the room broke into silence again, with their hearts beating.

"So.." Karlie started to break the awkward silence, then faced Taylor's staring blue orbs with her green.

Should I say sorry about what happened? But if I got it right, she leaned into the kiss too.

Taylor stared back shyly at Karlie who has a playful smile on her lips.

"I'm s-so-" Karlie started but was cut off by the blonde.

Don't! Because I'm not sorry.

"Well! Look at this mess we made! Let's clean this up, change into pj's, and call it a night shall we?" Taylor cut her off abruptly lightening up the mood between them.

"Oh-kaay. Let me help, it sure looks like a giant bird's nest here." Karlie said beaming playfully at the blonde.

She cut off my apology. That's a good thing, right? Hmm.

"You should. Or you'll be sleeping on the floor if my room doesn't look like the way it was when we entered here." Taylor threatened.

"You will never do that!" Karlie laughed

"Try me." Taylor challenged one eyebrow raised mockingly.

"So bossy." Karlie groaned, rolling her eyes smiling but finally agreed. They started fixing the damage of their pillow fight.

Even when they're picking up feathers and pillows on the floor, both couldn't lose the tension from the kiss. They tried to drown out their feelings, but with no luck.

What is wrong with my heart? Oh god, everytime I graze her arm it flutters...

Okay Karlie, deep breaths. Focus on breathing and cleaning but not on Taylor!

After cleaning up, both girls are exhausted thus lying on the bed side by side.

"Let's get changed into pj's first, Eli. Then we can sleep now, and ofcourse I'll let you borrow some of mine since this overnight was unplanned."
