It's graduation day, I never thought I would miss anybody today,(in fact I thought I would be glad to leave school).
But I will surely miss Mashiro Akiko. I met her shortly after I met Sasori. I never made a friend before. But I found out that Akiko was a really kind person.
She had always supported me, cared for me. I was really lucky to have her as my friend.
I was waiting for her to come to the roof so we could have our bento together. Ah, here she comes now. With her wavy smooth long orange hair and pretty face, she looks just like the kind of girl that hangs out with other 'girls'.
But she chose me, and I was grateful for that.
"Kana-cha~~~n !"
Oh, Akiko is calling me. As I walked over to her I heard her say,
" Gomenei, Kana-chan, I forgot to pay back the money that I owed you ~~~~." She said cheekily.
"Ah, its okay you don't have to pay for it, its the last day of school after all."
I didn't care how much I had to pay for friendship.
"Arigato ! Kana-chan, your the best !!" she cheered.
"Heheh I can't tell but your smiling right ? "
"Well I-" I started to say, but I was cut off because suddenly my eyes were covered by somebody's hands from behind.
"Guess who~~"
"Kurosaki-san get your hands off."
"Call me Sasori-kun first."
"No."
"Yes."
"NO."
"YES."
"Fine."
"Go on then."
"Please get your hands off..........Sasori-kun."
I spun around as my vision was cleared and there, just standing there smiling was Sasori.
Recently I've been feeling dizzy and for some reason my heartbeat goes overdrive whenever I go near him. I didn't know what it was so I consulted Akiko. And she told me that.........
I am in love with him.
To me love was just a fantasy. A thing that they write in books and mangas just for entertainment.
But now I know its real. It's true. And I've fallen. Fallen in love with Sasori.
It hurts, everyday being near him, but not being able to tell him anything about my feelings.(does he even know I have feelings?)
So I calculated the best way to make the pain stop. I'm going to confess.
First I just gotta get rid off Akiko.
"Akiko I think I left my bento in class, could you get it for me ?"
"Oh, what ?! why? It's you who should get it."
Damn.
"Ah, I left my bento in class, could you get it for me?" Sasori suddenly asked.
Akiko's face immediately lights up.
"Of course !" she stood up and went straight to the door.
"Wait for me~~~" she called as she ran downstairs.
"You wanted to talk alone?" Sasori said as he walked to me.
"How did you know ?"
" You never ask anybody to take your things for you," he smiled.
Ouch.
His smile makes my heart feels like its bursting. I really do love him.
Ah, there's nothing to lose anyway. I'll just say it.
There was nobody on the roof that day. Brown leaves were scattered all around since its nearly autumn. The wind was really strong, my favorite season was autumn. It wasn't really hot or really cold.
We were both standing at the edge of the roof looking at the scurrying little people below.
I held my hand tightly at the railings, took a deep breath of cold, sharp air and said, "Kurosaki-san.......
...........I Love You ."
