Dan's POV

"Will you be my girlfriend?"
I felt so nervous ,I don't know if its to early or not ,so ye its been almost 2days but when y/n got hurt I realised how much I really care about her ,and Phil told me that he isn't trying to flirt ,he also said him and y/n are more like brother and sister so it's good.

"Dan I -I" .
I took a deep breath
"Yes?"
"I would love to " she wrapped her arms around my neck and I wrapped my arms around her waist and dug my head in her neck
I heard a muffled " I love you "
I laugh "love you too".

*time skip a week because nothing happened*

Your POV

I've been hanging out with Dan and Phil lately,Phil's become a second brother to me and since me and Dan have been dating has been more protective of me,he is awesome and Dan ,Dan is just wow ,I love him.

Knock.knock.

What the hell? Nobody knocks on my door,Dan and Phil are shopping so its not them.

I open the door and a smile spreads across my face
" Alex!" I squeal and jump up and down
I ran and hugged him,he picked me up and span me around
"I didn't know you were coming today ,I'm so happy" I gave him a big squeeze then picked up one of his bags "how long are staying " 2weeks okay?"
"Of course "
He kissed me head and picked up his other bag.

*time skip*
"So here's the deal"
Alex looks at me concerned
"What is it "
"I only have a bed and sofa ,choose"
He rolled his eyes
"Well we can share the bed ,I mean we are siblings so"
"Okay"

Another knock on the door
"Ill be right back,feel free to go into the kitchen". I walk up to the door and open it to reveal Dan with his hands behind his back
" hey danny,whatcha doing?"
He smiles "danny" he repeats and looks at me .
"Oh Phil went to do a collab with PJ so I thought I'd come see you "
"And I got you something "
He pulls a teddy from behind his back
"Aww dan " I kiss his cheek " thank you"

We spoke for a couple minutes about general stuff then suddenly I felt a pillow hit the back of my head
Dan had a surprised look on his face
"Monkey, please can we do something pleassseeee." Alex ran behind me ,wrapped his arms around my stomach and spun me around ,I burst into laughter .
I stopped and looked at Dan
He looked disgusted

"Who the hell is this?!"
Alex walked from behind me and stared Dan down "well it depends ,who the hell are you?"
Its the most awkward thing to be caught in ,my boyfriend and brother about to argue.

"Dan this isn't what you thi-"
"Save it y/n ,I'll be at my flat,just leave me a minute" he storms of ,I turn to face Alex
"Who was that y/n?"
"That was Dan "
"Oh the boy that you like"
He smiles
"No my boyfriend"
"He is your boyfriend?" Alex tensed up "ye and I guess he assumed you were some other boy I'm with ,I forgot to mention your my brother"
"He sounds like an idiot"
Alex stood up "calm down al ,I'll go talk to him okay " he relaxed
"Fine but let me now if he acts up"
"I will ,be right back"

I went to Dan's door ,it was unlocked ,I walked up the stairs and noticed his door was shut ,I knocked on it
"Dan" I said quietly
"Please go away" wait ,was he ..,was he crying?
"Dan I'm coming in "
I open the door ,he was sprawled on his bed , his face was pale and his eyes bloodshot
"Dan.." I sat at the end of his bed
"Y/n do you love me? " he sniffed and sat up
I was confused "what are you on abo-"
"do you love me y/n!?"
"Of course I do,why would you ever question that?"
"That boy is why, is it that I'm no good ,do you love him more that me or what?"
"Dan your taking it way to far "
"How am I taking it way to far?"a small hint of anger in his voice.
"Dan ,that boy is my brother"
Shock filled his face "really"
"Ye" I say awkwardly
"Oh god ,I'm sorry y/n I didn't mean to jump to conclusions I just-" I cut him off with a kiss "its okay,I've explained it to Alex "
"I've made a bad first impression anyway" I hug Dan "you'll be fine ,c'mon " I take his hand "let's freshen you up and properly introduce you "
"Okay" he smiled
*time skip.*
We were stood in front of my door
"Ready? " I ask
"Ready"
We walk inside

"Al we've sorted it "

alex came out from the kitchen holding a sandwich

"so" he began "your dan " he walked up to him looking him up and down, he was a bit taller than dan and a lot more muscly. dan swallowed and nodded "yes" alex looked at me then back at Dan "your dating my sister?"
"Yes" I've never seen Dan so scared
Alex turns back to me "do you love him?" I stare at Alex "yes of course"
He smiles "okay monkey"
"Welcome to the family Dan" Alex puts his hand out Dan hesitantly shakes it .
"Listen y/n I'm super tired so I'm gonna head to bed ,but don't let me stop you"
I hug him and he kisses my head "night al" "night monkey"

I grabbed my bag and we left my flat
I look at my watch 10pm
"What do you wanna do now"
Dan looked at me "lets get pizza".
