Your Pov

"Dan can I open my eyes now"
"Not yet" he laughed as he walked me along a road "almost there"
"What if I trip,we're outside and I'm assuming its dark"
"I'm here ,don't worry."

*time skip*

Dan's pov
"Okay y/n were here,on the count of three you can open your eyes"

"Okay."
"One,two ,three!"
Y/n uncovered her eyes and they immediately lit up , it was late November and London had decorated for Christmas and because it was already dark ,the lights had been switched on and today there was a fair selling decoration's, sweets e.c.t
I wanted to take y/n here and then go on the London eye, so she can look at the beautiful site that our city has.

"Dan.. I-i can't,-its beautiful" she stuttered breathless
"Surprise" I whisper and grab her hand.

We walked down the stalls and found a 'hook the duck' game
"Hey y/n you wanna play"
She averted her gaze away from a necklace stand and looked and the game "sure ,I used be good at this ,its like an odd version of fishing" she giggled and I smiled
"Okay 1v1" I smirk
"Deal"

I went to the man behind the stall and gave him money for me and y/n
" hook for each please"
He hands a hook to me and y/n
"I heard you were doing 1v1 so I'm gonna set some rules " he began ,we laughed because of how friendly he is
"5 turns each ,its normally 3 but you look nice" I smiled at that
" don't move the others duck with your hook ,no nudging hitting stealing ,and who ever has the most wins the big teddy"
Y/n squeeled "its so fluffly ,I'm gonna win it "
"No I am"
"Okay guys ,ready set go"
Y/n spotted a duck close already and began to reach for it while I was aggressively swishing the water with my hook
"Got one!"y/n whisper yelled
I saw a duck and went for it " aha me too"
"I have to win that teddy Dan!" She laughed.

After a few tries the game ended and y/n won the teddy , as we left she strode confidently with her bear
And I'll be honest ,the fact I didn't win it for her made me feel stupid
I felt my hand being swung. By y/n enthusiasticly ,she then turned to face me she stopped walking
"Babe?..what's wrong" she looked into my eyes concerned
"Its nothing "I shrug
" no Dan its not ,what is it?"
"Its silly but I wanted to be all gentlemanly and give you the bear"
I mumbled the last part out of pure embarrassment
"Aww Dan " y/n dragged her words to show sympathy
"Here" she said bluntly and hands me the teddy
"Now you can"
"What?"
"You can give it to me "
I smile and get that warm feeling inside
I swing the bear behind my back and roll on my feet to do that 'swaying' motion "guess what y/n?"
"What?" She smiled and said sarcastically
I pull the bear from behind me
She pulls a shocked face
"Aww its so cute ,thank you". She takes the bear and kisses me then continues her stride.

After a few minutes of walking I found a sweet stand
" hey y/n Im gonna buy us some candy floss " I say as I walk of ,basically not letting her say no.
"Yay thanks "
I walked over and faced a woman
"What can I do you for" she said in the most northern farmer accent I've ever heard
"Two candy flosses please"
"Sure thing "
She reached over the stall and unhooked two of the largest bags of candy floss from the string of sweets on the stand.
"£3.45" she said while handing me the bags
I give her the money and walk off
"Y/n I got the candy floss!"
She glanced at the bags "wow! That's a lot of candy floss its gonna take me ages to eat that"
I smirk "good thing I've spared ages"
Y/n looks confused "what?"
I took her hand and turned her to face the London eye ,we had managed to walk there a while ago
"I'm taking you on there ,so you can see London at its finest"
"Omg yes that sounds amazing"

I walked her towards and empty booth ."y/n you step on a minute I'll be on now"
She node and goes inside ,I walk to the man controlling the eye
"Hi um me and my girlfriend are like the on a date and would you mind letting us get on this booth alone , i-i will pay extra bu-"
"Calm down sir ,I will let you go on by yourselves ,and don't worry about extra ,just enjoy your night."
"Thanks " I say and walk inside
He shuts the door and the eye moves slightly so people can get in the last pod.
Then it slowly moves again
"So y/n " I began ,grabbing her attention ,y/n turned to face me
"Ever been on this before "
"No actually ,and it looks so cool"
"It'll stop soon ,at the very top ,normally for about 10 minutes ,so you can get a good veiw" (idk if that's true ,I've never been on it)
"Ooh sound great."

We waited and made casual conversation until we got to the top ,we stopped and y/n jumped from her seat ,she ran to the window with the bear and just looked in amazement

"Its beautiful" she gasped
"Its gorgeous" I said while looking directly at y/n ,she didn't realise though ,which is good

We were about 3mins in when y/n turns to face me "Dan?" She said with a shakey voice ,I instantly knew something was up
"What's wrong y/n ,are you alright?"
"I looked down and saw how high up we are ,I'm scared of heights"
"It's okay im here" I wrap my arms around her and pull her close
"Your fine"
"Thanks Dan" y/n said while looking up at me.
I lean down and kiss her forehead .
We sat the rest of the way and just stared out the window ,hugging each other.

We soon got of and walked our way
Back to the taxi drop of point
As we were walking I noticed something on a stand had an idea
"Y/n I dropped my candy floss bag ,go get a taxi ,I'll be right there"
"Okay" she said suspiciously but passed it and left.
(I'm not telling you what happened yet)

Your pov

We got in the taxi and started driving
"Hey Dan what time is it?"
He glanced at his phone and back at me
"11pm ,why?"
"Oh god " I turn on my phone and see 11 miss calls from Alex.
"Alex has been calling all night "
Dan signed and ran his hand through his hair
My phone then vibrates Alex is calling
"Alex?"
"Y/n! What the hell I've been calling are you okay ,where are you ,did something happen?"
"Alex calm down I'm fine I'm with Dan I'm on-"
"Freaking Dan again ,I swear he doesn't seem right "
"No Alex its not that it-"
"If he screws up once more ,were gonna talk"
"Alex.. ". " see you later y/n" he sighed then hung up
"Y/n you alright" Dan asked concerned
"Alex called ,he got super worried about me and blamed it on you ,be doesn't trust you ,but he said if you 'mess up' again ,he will talk with you"
"God y/n I'm sorry "
"Its okay Dan its okay."
I kiss him quickly and let the taxi end its ride.

We got out the taxi and walked to our doors
"Y/n I'm so sorry "
"No really Dan ,it's fine"

I heard a loud noise and then my door flew open
"Y/n!" Alex hugged me and kissed my head
"Thank god you got back alright"
"Alex I'm okay" I saw while backing up
Alex look up at Dan and an angry look spreads on his face
"Dan ,I've said it once and I'll say it again " he steps closet making the space between him and Dan minescule and almost non existent
"Don't .. Mess..up"
Dan took a gulp and backed up to his door ,not once taking his eye of Alex
"N'no of course not"
I stepped behind Alex and into the doorway.
"And Dan "
"Y-yes?"
"I know my sister loves you ,but if you do so much as to cross one finger over the line, you know I will be over you flat in an instant"
I step forward "okay Alex I think he got the message ,just leave him alone." I say while holding and tugging him towards my flat
"Um al why don't you go inside I'll be ..right in"
He angrily shrugged and walked in

"Dan I can't believe. That ,I'm really sorry he is so protective"
"It's fine y/n ,I should be more careful anyway" laughed

"Uh Dan?"
"Ye y/n?"
"I don't really wanna be sleeping in the same bed as him when he is acting up ,"
"Oh ye um.. please y/n stay at mine"
"You sure,I mean I was just gonna go to a hotel "
"I insist"
I smile and walk past him to his door
Stroking my hand across the coller of his coat as I did so
"Such a gentleman" I smile and walk inside.
