Prologue:
What is love? Once, in high school, I was asked to explain what love meant to me as part of an English task of Romeo & Juliet. I was always fond of poetry, I was once told that I could make a can of coke seem beautiful and mesmerizing just by writing a poem about it and yet I couldn't -for the life of me- write a poem about love. So, you know what I said? I said, that in order to know what love is, you need to experience it. You need to feel it. Truth was, I had love, right there infront of me, but it wasn't until a year later that I finally managed to experience that love. Although, it wasn't until 8 years later that I managed to know what true love is. There's a difference, trust me alright?
But you see, I ran. Yep, I ran away from love. My love. Cliche' right? Wrong. I didn't run away because I was scared of falling in love. Truth be told, he was my 1st and only love as far as I'm concerned. And yes 10th grade was when I finally fell in love, but you know? I think it was always there. I mean he was my best friend ever since we were in diapers. Yes, Best Friend. Diapers. You heard me. Our parents were childhood friends. We were inseparable. But, like i said, my story isn't a cliche' at all. No, I will not tell you why I left my hometown, my childhood, my friends, my memories and him..behind. You'll get to know, eventually..
There will be love, tears, heartaches, smiles and memories. This is a story about, not only love, but friendship, trust and most importantly -family.

Okay so, this is my 1st time writing a story and i really, really, really hope it's a good one. This story was inspired by a lot of things, like music and movies. Especially Westlife, the band.
