Chapter 8

Anyways In the last chapter if you don't remember I got sick like really sick and I was having bad nightmares, Also Bucky undressed me which I am totally okay with. I mean come on Reader you wouldn't mind it If an attractive man undressed you. Anyways would you like to hear the next Chapter?. If not than I'm sorry cause I'm gonna tell it to you anyways. So grab hold of your hats cause it might be a bumpy ride you just never know. So lets get on to this new chapter and hope that no one dies. I awoke still feeling pretty crappy and In a massive amount of pain while curled into Bucky's side with his metal arm holding me close. I noticed that somehow my IV came out of my arm while sleeping and there was blood on my arm from where it was pulled out from. I let out a small whimper. grabbing at my head not caring or noticing that things in the room started to levitate " Bucky!!" I cried out gripping onto his shirt tightly as my head started to get worse with pain and blood was dripping out from my ear. Once I cried out in pain I felt Bucky move slightly and let go of me " Amelia Doll Are you okay?" I heard him ask as he gently moved me off him and into the middle of the big bed" Hurts Bucky so much" I cried opening my bloodshot eyes to look at him. seeing painc and concern written on his face." I'm gonna get Bruce we might have to take you down to the lab" he said getting off the bed and pecking me forehead. ( I know what your thinking Reader That Is not the kiss I wanted and I'm thinking Oh god I want to feel those soft lips on me. His lips are really soft and that stubble when his kissed my forehead oh goodness it made me feel good in places)" Hurry Please" I whimpered curling into a ball and clutching my head digging my nails into my head drawling more blood than what was already dripping from my ear staining Buckys white sheets red.

After a few minutes I hear the door open and feel one warm hand and one cold hard hand pulling my hands away from my head causing me to let out a small scream." It's okay Luv it's Buck and Bruce I Gotta pick you up Alright we need to get you down to the Lab and Into a ice bath quickly your burning up" I heard Bucky whisper in my ear as he carefully maneuvered his arms around me to pick me up keeping my hands pinned at my sides. I let out a small cry of pain" Whats Happening to me" I said as best as I could as I buried my face in Bucky's neck. " I'm not quite sure Amelia that is why I'm taking you down to the lab so I can run some test and see what the cause to all this is" I heard Bruce say from in front of Bucky and I. I noticed we were in the elevator when I felt us move down with a small jolt" Think Hydra did something to me that if I'm not with them this happened" I asked in a whispered keeping my face in Bucky's neck." Not sure that could be a possibility" I heard Bucky say. After a short elevator ride and a short walk I am place on a cold stiff bed, much like the one i used to sleep on at Hydra except without the springs in my bed. I opened my eyes to see Bruce putting an IV back in me and pushing what I hope to be the strongest pain reliever into it. 

For the next few hours I am in and out of sleep as Bruce does test after test. I know for a fact that Bucky hasn't left my side yet even to go get him self food when my father came Into the lab offering to trade places with him for a bit." Buck" I whispered looking at him " go get food Ill be fine what ever Bruce gave me dulled the pain down so go get my father can sit in with me" I told him with the best smile I could muster. " Fine only because your telling me to Doll" He said before kissing my hand and leaving just as my father came into the room. "How you holding up Amelia? "He asked taking Bucky's spot." I'm okay not is as much pain and not bleeding from my ears anymore" I whispered looking him over closely for the first time I notice a wedding band on his finger." So dad who is the lucky lady?" I asked trying to keep my mind off og Bruce as he poked me with another needle." Laura I told her about you and how I finally found you and she can't wait to meet you" He told me taking my hand." You can meet her and your two brothers and your sister. They are all excited to meet you as well" He said with a smile on his face. enough about me tell me about You and Barnes" he said looking to me. " Not sure what there is to tell dad I kinda knew him in hydra though i do like him" I said before letting out a big yawn. " Get some sleep I'm gonna go give the team an update they are all worried" He said before leaving Bruce and I alone.

After my father left I curled onto my side closing my eyes tight and falling into a nightmare filled sleep. In my dreams I was running away from Hydra bruised and bloody with Bucky next to me. While we ran there were gun shots and explosions behind us The guns shots were pointed right at the both of us as we ran but we manged not to get hit with any. As we ran there was one really close explosion that blasted Bucky and I off our feet and flew us forward a few feet. Once I hit the cold hard ground I let out a groan and sat up holding my head" Bucky!" I shouted in my dream looking around for him only to notice then that I couldn't see anything anymore." Amelia Luv I'm right here are you okay" I heard Bucky ask taking my head between his hands." I can't see " I whispered gripping onto his arms" I'm gonna pick you up we need to keep moving" He said kissing my forehead quickly before picking me up and running with me to where the quinjet sat not to far. A few seconds later I hear a gunshot and feel Bucky stop moving " Buck!" I asked my sight slowly coming back to me" I let out a small scream when he fell dropping me onto the forest floor in front of him. Once my sight was back I noticed the blood soaking his shirt and moved over to him as Hydra agents circled us." I screamed when two guards grabbed me and pulled me away holding me tightly as another pointed a gun at Buckys head and before the shot rang out I jumped away panting. Reader just I just tell you how scary it is to almost witness the one person you love besides your father get shot. even with it being a dream it was horrible

" Bucky?" I asked frantic looking over to him when I felt him grip my hand" I'm right here love " He said softly using his human hand to push hair out of my face" wanna talk about it?" He asked keeping his metal hand entangled with my human hand. I shook my head no keeping my eyes on him for a few moments until Bruce came over" I couldn't find any thing wrong on all the test I've done" He said looking at me sadly." I have no clue why your sick but it looks like your fever broke in your sleep." He told me with a small smile" I'm gonna keep the IV drip in encase your pain returns but if you want with the help of Bucky you can go join everyone in the lounge room " He said unhooking me from the heart monitor. I nodded my head and smiled softly" Thank you Bruce" I said sitting up slowly with the help of Bucky. " Your welcome just go easy for now don't strain your powers " Bruce said as Bucky being the gentleman that he was picked me up carefully with ease. I let out a small giggle as Bruce laid the pouch full of liquid that was attached to my IV line onto my stomach" I'll Have your father attach the bag to a pole when you get up there" Bruce said before Bucky turned and left the room walking to the elevator." Thank you Bucky for everything this past day and a half. you didn't have to sit with me and yet you did" I said laying my head on his shoulder as the elevator made its was up 5 floors." Amelia back In Hydra when ever I was wiped you were there taking care of me afterwards" He said looking down at me" I felt the need to repay the favor and plus Ill do pretty much anything for you doll." He said causing me to blush slightly. Reader are you thinking what I'm thinking does he like me more than a friend?!?!.
