Present...
I laid in my bed thinking. Four years ago today I lost my best friend. I can't believe I lost her. She meant everything to me. Now I have to still move on, or at least try every day.
After a few minutes I finally got the energy to get out of bed. My medium blonde hair laid everywhere and I looked like a disaster.
The Night Before...
I walked into Brianna's house for the party. Everybody was staring at me in my tight, long sleeve, white dress. It was time to party. Time to forget everything for a while
Brianna saw me and handed me a red solo cup. I took a sip of it as we sat there talking.
"How are you feeling right now?" She asked.
"I'm tired, ready to forget tomorrow," I said looking into the cup.
"I can't believe it's been four years Mer," she said.
"Can we just not talk about it right now? This is a high school party. Not a mope around party," I retorted.
She looked at me with sorrow for a moment. Then we both chugged our drinks.
"Party!" We shouted.
We spent the night drinking and partying all night. I am glad to have Brianna as a friend. She helps me out when I need it.
Present..
I grabbed my high waisted black shorts and my red, short sleeve crop top. After putting them on, i grabbed my denim colored long sleeve cardigan and slid that over my arms. I combed through my hair and pinned part of it back.
My five year old sister then ran in and hugged my leg.
"Mer, Mer, are you okay?" She asked looking up to me.
"I'm fine Baby Girl," I said picking her up.
"Promise?" She said in her cute voice.
"I promise Liz," I said kissing her head.
