I walked out of class and Ian ran into me. Out of all days today has to be the day he is everywhere I go.
"Watch where you're going," I spat.
"What's wrong with you?" He asked.
"Out of all days you're everywhere. Just go somewhere already. Tired of being around you," I retorted.
"What did I do to you?" He asked.
"You weren't there for me. Every time I needed somebody you weren't there. I was alone for four years. Then Brett and I became closer and closer. He started to be there for me more and more when I came back from Greece. Hell, he went to Greece to be with me a few times. A stranger was there for me more than my so called best friend," I stated.
"Look, I'm sorry but I'm here now aren't I? I'm here for you now," Ian said while going to touch my shoulder.
"Do not touch me. And that's not good enough. So stay out of my way here," I said as I turned to walk away.
"You act as if you're alone now but you're fucking popular. You have everything you could ever dream of. The girl who hated sports is now the captain of our cheer team. I'm the one who's alone. I don't have any friends except for like two. You're friends with Brett Stevens for fuck sakes! Who wouldn't want to be friends with him? Nobody. He's the quarterback for our football team-" I cut him off.
"Don't talk about Brett. You're just mad that he was actually there for me when you weren't. He proved to me that he actually wanted in on my life unlike you," I remarked and stormed off.
I stormed into the bathroom where Brianna was fixing her makeup.
"You okay Babes?" she asked.
"I'm great," I lied.
"How are you and Matt?" She asked.
"Over with," I remarked with a slight laugh.
"You're telling me that you finally broke up with my step brother?" she asked while looking at me through the mirror.
"He was abusive. So yeah?" I said with a slit question tone in my voice.
"About damn time. I didn't like him with you anyways," she laughed.
"Why aren't you in class?" I asked.
"Because I hate first period. Why aren't you?" She asked.
"Stampston," I remarked.
"That explains it," she laughed.
"Brett asked me out on a date this morning," I blurted.
"Are you kidding?" She asked.
"Would I ever kid about him?" I asked.
"No. What did you say?" She asked.
"That I would love to go," I smiled.
"Are you finally going to date him?" She asked.
"I don't want to rush into anything," I stated while observing her blonde hair and her blue eyes. They looked good with and without makeup. I don't know why she does that to herself
