(I will spare you the details of the long and boring trip to Darkshed manor)
We made it to the manor pretty quickly. It was in my own realm anyways.
The manor was on a big hill with it's own path leading up to it. The manor was pretty big itself. It had an old fashion style to the building. It even had it's own gate.
''This is nice,'' Orpheous said as we entered the manor.
It was nice and warm inside. I didn't even bother putting my cape up.
We entered the main hall. There were a few people standing around and chatting.
I walked over to the counter to see a log book. I put my signature on a space near the bottom.
I handed Jeffrey the pen.'' Sign in.''
He did just as he was told.
''You guys too,'' I said as Jeffrey passed the pen to Orpheous.
I looked down the list. All of the names even had what mask they were wearing right next to it. I read the list.
Stacy Rose (the rabbit)
Wolfe Jacobs (the jester)
Stephanie and Wendy Smith (the twins)
Tery and Chuck Winston ( the fox(Tery) the hound(Chuck)
Kile Steinberg (the owl)
Mr Fox, host (the fox)
Oh no. Not these people. Not here. How did they even get here?
James Harkon (the goat)
''My father,'' I said aloud.
Ernest Harkon (death)
''My brother.''Star Harkon (the angel)
Vixen Harkon (the dark angel)
''My sisters.''
''Wait, what?'' Jeffrey said very confused.
''What?'' I replied, looking up.
''You have sisters?''
''Yeah.''
He almost fainted. Until I smacked him. Dead in the face.
''What was that for?'' he asked, rubbing his face.
''Pull you stuff together man!'' I said, shaking him.
''Did I catch that right?'' he asked, still very confused.
''What? That I have sisters?''
He fainted.
I looked around.''We'll putt him on the couch for now.''
''I'm not carrying him!'' Gary said walking away.
I looked at Orpheous.
''Oh no!'' he said, walking backwards.
''Too late! I'll take the feet.''
''Oh come on!'' he said, picking up Jeffrey's shoulders.
We struggled to get him to the couch.
''Oh no you don't!'' my dad said, jumping onto the couch.
''Oh come on!'' Orpheous pouted as he dropped Jeffrey.
''Ow,''
''Oh he's awake. No need to steal my couch now!'' my dad replied.
He paused and took a deep breath.''I smell cheese!'' he said, bolting up.
I looked back at Gary's horrified face.''Run, Gary, run!'' I yelled running after him.
''Out of my way!'' my dad yelled running after us.
I grabbed the bag from Gary and continued running.
''Get back here Shadow! Drop the cheese! That is an order!'' he yelled, still running after me.
''How about no?''
We kept running and running.
My brother stood next to Jeffrey. He handed him a glass of apple cider.
''Oh, hey Ernest,'' Jeffrey said before he took a sip of the cider.
''Why were they dragging you to the couch?'' Ernest replied, doing the same.
''Don't know. Is it true you have sisters?'' Jeffrey replied.
Ernest took a long gulp of cider.''Yeah, why?''
Jeffrey fainted. Ernest caught the glass and put his empty one aside. He drank the rest of Jeffrey's cider, set it on the table, and walked away.
Dad was still chasing me.
''It's mine!''
''Not for long!''
''Oh yes it is!''
''Oh no it isn't!''
''Yeah huh!''
''Nuh uh!''
This continued on for a while.
Ernest poured another glass of cider.''What am I going to do with them?''
