Sitting on the couch with Ashton, i cant help thinking this is kinda how it's suppose to be. Talking, laughing, pigging out... I didnt realize just how hungry i was... Anyway Luke, Michael and Calum are having a jam session in the room on the third floor, yet we can still hear them from the first floor... While Ash and i are going through the detail of mum's funeral ceremony. We already have it booked for Friday, 2 days from now, and we have the song selections ready i chose Keep Holding On by Avril Lavigne and Heaven was Needing A Hero by Jo Dee Messina as the opening and closing soundtracks. I also chose a hymn about how beautiful life is and how you dont know what is right in front of you until it's gone. We had someone picked out to lead the ceremony and i had written my eulogy. We knew what was going to be written on the tombstone, we had picked a space in the local cemetery to bury her ashes as she wanted to be cremated, and just as we were finishing up with everything the doorbell rang.

Ashton quickly got up to get it and came back in a few minutes later with an old guy in a business suit following him.

'Annabeth, this is Mr. Summerfield. He's a lawyer. He wants to talk to you about Mandi's final will.'

I nodded quickly and the man sat down on the other couch and Ashton sat next to me again.

'Mr. Irwin, do you mind letting me talk with Ms. Winters alone for a minute?'

'No!' I said,' I need him....'

'Very well then. As you know, Mandi Rose Elizabeth Winters passed away at approximately 3:30 am on Sunday. I am here to confirm that you are Mandi's daughter.'

'I am.'

'Ok. Mandi has written in her will that she has left everything in her name to you.'

Wait, what? But she hated me????

He pulls a piece of paper out of his bag and unfolds it before putting it on the table.

I read aloud,' I, Mandi Rose Elizabeth Winters, leave everything in my possession to my daughter, Annabeth Jade Yasmynn Winters, including my house, car, and other possessions. The contents of my bank account ($693,812.95) shall be transferred to hers immediately, with a lock on her access to this money until her 18th birthday.
Signed, Mandi Winters.'

'I must ask you for your bank account details, Miss Winters. Also, I am to let you know that your inherited possessions will be arriving here tomorrow at 10 am, along with the keys to Mandi's 4 cars, 3 houses, and 4 apartments. These houses and apartments will be vacated by their tenants unless you should ask me otherwise before 10 am on Monday next week. If you want the tenants to stay, you will be gaining $350 a week for each apartment and $600 a week for each house. This money would go into the locked section of your bank account along with your mother's money until your 18th birthday.'

'O.... Okay.... Umm... Let the tenants stay. And can you please have the cars delivere here as well?'

'Of course, ma'am.'

'Thank you, Mr. Summerfield.'

He got up to leave when Ashton piped up, 'Wait... 600,000 dollars? Plus $3,200 per week.... Well guess who's getting a new bank account for pocket money?'

'I wont be needing pocket money.'

'Yes you will and dont even try to stop me because i'll only raise the amount. You're getting $100 a week and if you argue i'll make it $200'

Well, damn.
