Chapter 17

Its been a week since the funeral. And i'm happier now. I've been eating more, sleeping well, socialising and coming out of my room.

At the moment we're watching Pitch Perfect and next we're gonna watch Pitch Perfect 2. I love this movie. Beca is so cool!!!
(No spoilers for those who haven't seen them :* )

I start singing along with the girls and i have to admit im having fun. The boys laugh at me and joke around about my voice, saying it's really good and i should send in a demo to their recording company and get famous. At least i hope they're joking because we all know im tone deaf. I tell them to shut up and watch the movie.
When Luke starts complaining that it's too girly i throw a pillow at him.

'Owwww. That hurt babe!'

'Too bad and dont call me babe. What am i, your girlfriend?'

'I wish!' He says as he wiggles his eyebrows suggestively.

'Eeeeewwwwwww!' I reply and we all burst out in fits of laughter. 'Ooh! Ooh! Shut up guys it's the final performance!'

They sit in silence while i sing along to some of my all time favourite songs and when the movie is over i excuse myself to go get more junk food.

'You're gonna get fat if you keep eating dorito's non stop, you know?'
I gasp and turn around when Luke speaks as he scared the crap out of me.

'Don't creep up on me like that!' I scream.

He wraps his arms around my waist and pulls me closer to him. He laughs when i try to get free but fail and start giggling with him.

*clap. Clap. Clap*

'Awwweee. You guys are so cute together! HEY ASHTON! MICHAEL COME LOOK!'

Luke and i jump apart as Ashton and Michael come running from the living room to see what's going on. They both have confused looks on their faces and Calum bursts into laughter at the fact that both Luke and I are blushing and looking like tomatoes.

'What?!' They say in unison.

'SHUT UP CALUM!' Luke and i shout at the same time...

'They........ Were... Cuddling..... So cute!!!!' Calum says between laughs, struggling to breathe.

'SHUT UP!!!'

'Awwww...' Ashton says. 'How come you stopped?'

'Cause this is what happens! You guys laugh!' I said and started stomping up the stairs dramatically. I wasnt really mad i just wanted to scare them. Im eeeevilllllll!

'Wait baby come back!' Luke says, following me. I'm pretty sure he turned around to glare at the others before continuing up stairs after me.

I grin and turn around. 'Don't worry Ashy.. You can laugh now but I heard you and Michael last night!' I said with a wink. 'By the way, Michael is cheating on you with Calum!' Then i turn around and start running, turning around and locking my bedroom door after Luke follows me in. I lay on my bed and Luke comes over and lays down next to me.

'So....' I say.

'So...' He copies, mockin me. 'Whatcha doin?'

'Dude what are you, that chick from Phineas and Ferb?'

He starts laughing quietly and i join him before he wraps his arms around me lightly, cuddling up to me and resting his face on my neck. He sighs and closes his eyes.

'Hey Luke?'

'Yes baby?'

'Are we gonna sleep like this?'

'Only if you want to?'

'Ok.'

I put my happy playlist on and he starts humming along to Best Song Ever by One Direction and i fall asleep soon after, because i'm so comfortable and his voice is so soothing.

I wake up feeling really hot and with something trapping me. I open my eyes to see Luke's bare chest and realize that he's cuddling me. Damn, that boy has an iron grip! I try to wriggle out of his arms without waking him up but i fail. I press my lips to his nose and he snores lightly, making me giggle. I kiss his nose again and he rolls over, so that i'm laying on top of him, or more like straddling him. He opens his eyes and blinks multiple times before his eyes focus on my reddened face.

'Morning baby.'

Errrrmahgerrrrddddd!!! That morning voice! It's so deep and sexy!!

He laughs at my reaction and looks down.

'I like this position.' He states. 'Comfortable.'

'Uhmmmm.....' He laughs again. 'Errr.. Can i go have a shower and come back?'

'Nope. I wanna stay here an-'

'LUKE! ANNABETH! OPEN THIS DOOR RIGHT NOW!' Ashton screams as he pounds on my bedroom door. 'YOU BETTER BE WEARING CLOTHES!'

'Get your shirt on!' I whisper-yell when he finally lets me go. 'And hurry up before he kicks the door down!'

Ashton bangs on the door again and Luke runs into the bathroom with his shirt so i can open the door.

'Where is he?!'

'Umm... On the loo?'

Ashton strides over and is about to bang on the ensuite door when Luke flushes the toilet and opens the door fully clothed.

'Sorry guys... You know how bad the urge for a morning dump can be...'

I crack up laughing while Luke and Ashton struggle to keep straight faces.

Im seriously never going to get used to this....
