"Are we all set to go?" Zachary asked as I was fastening my seat belt.

I turned to face Zachary with a wide grin and giggled like a kid. "Yes yes, we are!"

Zachary ruffled my hair as a corner of his mouth twitched upward into a smirk. With a flick of his wrist, the car roared to life and Zachary maneuvered out of the parking space.

"Rach, just curious. Why did you suggested for a bike date?"

I gazed up from my phone to look at Zachary. "Well, that's because I've always wanted to cycle around this town! When I finally learnt how to cycle, it wasn't long until I couldn't fit into the small bike. Besides, we're preparing our move to London, so my parents didn't buy me a bigger one."

As soon as I finished rambling my reasons, Zachary's lower lip move outwards as a pout.

"Awww, how adorable. Zachary Davis is pouting." I gave Zachary's lips a playful light smack which he returned with a playful glare.

"But seriously, what's wrong with my reasons?"

"I thought you'd say because you always wanted to go on a bike date with me." Zachary commented while stopping the car for the red light.

The look on Zachary's face really cracked me up. He really was a teeny weeny bit of disappointed. How can someone look so handsome yet adorable at the same time? Well, I am lucky to call him, my boyfriend. *smirks*

"Well, of course, I've also thought that it'd be fun to cycle with you!" I gave Zachary's cheeks a little pinch and signalled him to start driving. We wouldn't want some impatient driver blasting the car's horns at us.

Last night, I signed us up for a bike tour. This place changed a lot these past 6 years, I am excited to cycle around for sightseeing purposes. I have to admit, it's kinda romantic to do this with Zachary.
~*~*~*~*~*~*~*~*~*~*~*~*~*~*~*~*~*~*~

Did I just mentioned romantic?

I shouldn't have said it too fast.

"AHHHHHHHHHH!"

It was the last word before I crashed down onto the ground.

"Rach, Rach, are you alright?" Zachary rushed to my side as soon as my whole body made contact with the hard and rough floor.

"Ah ah. Oww. I am definitely not alright."

My back ached from the hard impact with the ground. Fortunately, the aftermath of my fall was a few cuts and bruises. Ladies and gentlemen. Boys and girls. Remember to put on your helmet when you're cycling. If it wasn't for my helmet, my head would also be kissing the dirty floor. Wow. Imagine the amount of pain that would have caused. Just the thought of it made me shudder. I tried to pry off the heavy bike off my body as if it was something bad.

"Hey, easy there. C'mon lemme carry you."

Zachary gently removed the bicycle from me as he scooped me up, bridal style.

Oh boy. Was it bad to blush in the middle of this? Okay fine, the falling part wasn't romantic at all. However, this was a total different story.

Zachary carried me to a nearby pavilion and made me sit there while he went to search for a first aid kit.

Since I am have nothing to do, I examined my injuries carefully. My left arm and leg was decorated with a cut. My left thigh, oh my, it turned purple so quickly. These injuries gonna hurt so damn much.

Zachary's POV

"Sorry to bother you, sir. May I ask if you have a first aid kit?" I approached the convenience store owner politely.

"Ah, yes I have. Give me a minute to dig out that treasure." The store owner who has smiling blue eyes told me.

In actual fact, it took him a good five minutes to find that treasure. Well, I couldn't blame him because he's like 70 years old. The owner slowly approached me with the first aid kit and I reached over to take it.

"Thank you so much. I'll be right back!"

As I was making my way back to where I left Rachel, my head was hit with a soccer ball. I covered the right side of my face as the pain spreaded across.

"Dude, I'm so sorry!" A young boy not more than 12 ran here to retrieve back his ball.

I tried to give him a smile but my face stung a little by doing that.

"No, it's alright. Here, catch this." I bent over to pick up the ball and threw it to him. Since I couldn't smile yet, I gave him a thumbs up.

I tried to soothe the bruise that was starting to form under my right eye. Rachel was gently blowing on her wounds when I finally reached the pavilion.

Rachel's beautiful gray eyes was filled with amusement after she saw the decorations on my face.

"Wow. I didn't know that the way to getting first aid kit was so dangerous." Rachel chuckled but sucked in a breath as her wounds were complaining.

"Just so you know I would do anything for you!" I winked at her and bent down to patch up her wounds.

Rachel squirmed at her seat after the disinfection liquid made contact with her skin. Rachel squeezed her eyes shut and tightened her grip on the edge of the chair.

I was thinking of ways to distract Rachel from the stinging sensation caused by her wounds.

"Rach, just a little bit more of dabbing and I'm done." I said absentmindedly as I focused on covering up the cuts with the gauze.

"You can open your eyes now."

Rachel peeked with an eye open and saw that I am really finished with being nurse. She smiled and moved her hands to check if it hurts.

"Oww. Thank you." Rachel reached over to touch my already blue back eye.

"It seems like we're both having a great day getting injured, aren't we?" Rachel tittered which brought a wide grin on my face.

"C'mon, let's go return this and get some ice cream, clumsy princess! Both of us sure needed some of those for our bruises." I interlocked my hands perfectly with Rachel's.
