Chapter 5

I heard a low growl and I had to turn knowing what was to come... i was terrified...Alpha Carson was the meanest and most feared Alpha of all time and i was his Mate. i stood still i was scared, i couldn't move. He growled louder telling me to turn around, slowly i turned around hoping and praying that he wouldn't kill me. His wolf slowly walking toward me threatening me to make a move. i stayed where i was not risking my life. He got to me and growled telling me to shift and i did has i was told, he looked so angry i could feel so many emotions flowing off him that i got dizzy and fell over. He ran up to me with concern in his eyes and he nudged me calmly telling me to try and stand. I slowly stood on shaky legs and he held me in place letting me know he wasn't going to drop me. He nudged me to walk and the mate bond started. He watched me as he guided me back to the Pack house.

It was amazing, it was white on the outside but as soon as you stepped in the walls were Red with Red carpet. The place was huge, i felt a push and saw Alpha Carson nudging me to the stairs. I walked to them and he guided me to "Our" room. it was beautiful a nice Navy blue coating the walls, the bed was big...with lime green sheets. A small desk on the right side near the window. The bathroom was on the Left nice and neat looking. He shifted and changed into some boxers and black basketball shorts but refused on wearing a shirt. This guy was fine. He was muscular with an amazingly strong stomach. He looked at me grinning and threw me some boxers a long t-shirt and some nice sweat pants. He turned around and i shifted putting on the clothes he gave me i coughed letting him know i was done. He turned around and smiled.

"You look good. Whats your name Darling? Full name besides Addison Shepard.." he gave me a melt your soul smile and i caught my breath in my throat. He looked at me waiting for a reply and managed to squeak out

"Addison Iris Shepard, Alpha Carson."

"Stop...we're mates don't ever call me 'Alpha' we're equals. I insist you call me Carson." He walked over to me and hugged me in response I hugged him back. It felt so good to be hugged. My wolf purred in content. He pulled back and placed his lips on mine sparks flying, i kissed back hesitantly. he broke away and looked worried and scared he backed away and ran out of the room. I stood there feeling all the sparks leave my body. I needed to take a shower I was filthy. A knock on the door made me freeze.

"Come in." The door opened and a guy about 21 stood there looking me up and down.

"So your the new Luna huh? You don't look like much." he said walking around me

"Who are you if I may ask?" I stood frozen

"Oh right I'm Nick, the Beta also Carson's best friend." He was cute but Carson was better his Long blonde hair was shiny and almost silky looking, his Blue eyes stared me down. He wore a black muscle shirt under a nice shirt, he wore dark jeans and black boots. He looked like he was going to be fun to hang with. He grinned and leaned against the door frame.

"If your done checking me out I'm supposed to be showing you the place." He said trying to look sexy but ended up looking adorable.

"Oh uh psh checking you out please...i would rather die than check you out." i lied why couldn't he be my mate he was BEAUTIFUL... my wolf growled at my thought.

'You disgust me how could you think of him like that...Carson is better he is hot!!' She screamed at me I laughed and blocked her out.

"HEY PRINCESS? LUNA? LADY?"

"Sorry Nick show me around I'm ready." He grinned I could tell he was unmated he was very immature. I walked behind him and he grabbed my waste pulling me up to him.

"You need to walk faster Babe." He grinned and i blushed.

"Hey uh question babe. Would you leave Alpha Carson for this hot stuff." he laughed jokingly

"NO, oh my god Nick wha why." I giggled and continued talking "Nick you better be expecting me to bother you, you as of right now are my only friend." He grinned and looked at me

"You can bother me anytime babe, you know, your not so bad after all." i giggled and he smiled leading me back to my room... "Ight listen up babe I'm right next door if you need anything." i smiled he felt like family but i was crushing on him. Why? He smiled and left when the door flew off the hinges and landed next to me. I looked up to see a pissed Carson, this was not going to end good...the last I had was 'Nick Help me'

"Why do you smell like my fucking BETA?" I was scared

"I said why do you smell like my beta?" he asked calmly but i was to scared. Flash backs of the abuse i had he growled and turned around screaming Nicks name...i saw him walk in grinning.

"Watcha need big C'dawg?"

"Dont push it Nick" he sneered i could see Nick grinning he looked at me and his grin dropped into a worried expression

"Carson what the fuck did you do to her?" he shoved past him and over to me whispering soothing things to me calming me down

"I-I oh my god what have i done..." he walked up to me with hurt eyes. I flinched and he bent down.

"I, Carson Lancaster reject you Addison Shepard as my mate" it hurt really bad i felt the bond break and i cried into Nick's shoulder Carson growled.

"Nick get her out of here." he nodded and we got into a black SUV. Nick glanced at me occasionally.

"Nick, what am i going to do...i have no family..." He stopped the car and looked at me.

"Listen babe...there's a weird thing but i don't know if you would want me to do it..." i looked at him telling him to go on "I can mark you, but it would mean you would become my mate and you would have to come back with me and deal with Carson...but you would get certain privileges, such as going to pack meetings with me, parties, training, a bunch of other things. I don't think you would want me to do that though." i looked at him in awe...he could be my mate if i allow him to mark me...he would be my family...but Carson... I smiled

"Nick...i trust you and we only just meet but im kinda into you...so i will leave you the choice of marking me...you can mark me or wait for your mate its up to you." He looked at me and smiled

"well babe now that aint fair is it?" i giggled and looked out the window feeling hands wrap around my waste he pulled me onto his lap.

"Are you sure. This is a big leap Nick." he just smiled and lightly kissed me but he didn't have to mark me because we both pulled away and at the same time said 'No way'!!

"What in the actual Fuck Addison how is it even possible?" I looked at him horrified

"I-I don't know" he smiled and kissed me again sparks flying everywhere

"But, How...I mean you haven't even found your first mate! I just lost mine..." he smiled again

"you are my first mate I guess and I'm your second chance!! Fuck yea!!" I giggled he started driving back to Carson's pack. When we got there Carson looked at me pissed

"Nick why is she here?" he asked calmly Nick on the other hand looked confident

"She's my Mate Carson." he looked stunned he started toward me

"Is this true?"

"Yes Alpha." He smiled at nick and glared at me which earned him a growl from Nick.

"I Nick, Challenge you Alpha Carson for position as Alpha."

Fuck...he did NOT just challenge an Alpha......
