Ichigo x Rukia

True Instinct

Just a week after the fight with Ginjo, Rukia was back in Karakura Town. Ichigo and Rukia raced towards their class before the bell rang and Rukia ended up winning. The bell rang and she sat comfortably at her desk. Ichigo sighed and smiled. He missed her a lot. He finally stopped denying what he felt for her. He would make up excuses like I like her... She's a good friend. But when he thought deeper, he knew that he loved her.

Ichigo walked into the class and his eyes met Rukia's. He was smiling, it was a sight his classmates barley got to see.

She's beautiful, isn't she King?

Ichigo's eyes flickered black and gold before returning to its original color. Rukia stood up abruptly, quick to help him out. Uryu, Chad, and Orihime were aware and was ready to help him as well. "Uhh Ichigo are you... ok?" Asked Keigo looking at him with a very confused look.

Quiet. He told Hichigo. Ichigo quickly walked out of the classroom with his head down. "Ichigo!" Rukia ran to him.

"No stay... Away." He said.

When are you going to tell our Queen how you feel?? Hichigo laughed which sent shivers up his spine.

I said quiet! Ichigo fastened his pace. He wasn't sure where he was going. He just wanted to get away from everybody. Away from Rukia.

Hichigo laughed again. Now Rukia was right behind him. Uryu, Chad, and Orihime followed behind, and so did the teacher. "Ichigo what do you think your doing? If you don't feel well go to the nurse, don't just walk out like that!" She scolded. Ichigo clutched his hair tightly.

If you don't do it, then I'm going to! Hichigo laughed louder this time, and Ichigo's eyes stayed black and gold for a much longer period of time.

Be quiet!!!

I'm going to become King, and Rukia will be my Queen!

"Shut up!!" Ichigo yelled. Everyone jumped at his sudden out burst. Hichigo laughed once again.

You can't stop me. C'mon! I want her as much as you do. After all, I am your true instincts! A King can't be afraid! So I'll take over and have her all to myself!

"Your not going to touch her!" He tightened his grip on his orange hair and walked away from Rukia and the others faster.

"Ichigo!"

"Rukia... Stay away from... Me." He stumbled, feeling Hichigo getting closer to the surface. "Stop..." Rukia got closer to him and put her hands on his shoulders. "Rukia... no."

"Ichigo... Take control." She said in a very soothing voice. He was sitting on the floor with his back leaning against the wall and she knelt in front of him. She placed her hands on his and brought them down so they were not gripping his hair. Ichigo relaxed and wasn't as tense. He took a deep breath. "Are you ok, Ichigo?" She asked.

"I love you." He said. It took Rukia by surprise. Before she could say anything, Ichigo brought her into a hug and held her tightly. "I don't want to hurt you. I love you." He could almost see Hichigo scowling.
