Ichigo x Rukia

Her Confession

I roamed the hallways looking for Ichigo. "So Orihime, you had something you wanted to tell me?" I heard his muffled voice coming from the classroom.

"Yeah..." She took a deep breath. "Ichigo I love you." I stepped into the class. "I've always liked you. And I want to be with you!" My eyes widened. I quickly stepped back into the hallway. I gripped my shirt over my heart as I suddenly felt pain. Orihime confessed to... Ichigo. I was frozen in place. I wanted to move but I couldn't. I felt someone walking out of the classroom. I panicked and quickly turned my back around.

"Rukia..." It was Ichigo. I didn't listen to him. I just left, and walked out. My pace fastened, and so did his. "Rukia wait!"

"I have to go." I didn't no where I was going to go, I just needed to be alone.

*Flash Back*
Yesterday

Ichigo grabbed my hand as we walked to his house from Urahara's. He gave me the sweetest smile. Our eyes told each other everything. We knew exactly what our feelings were for each other. It couldn't of been more obvious then at that moment.

*End of Flash Back*

My heart clenched. I sat at a bench at the park, making sure to suppress my spiritual pressure so Ichigo couldn't find me. It started to rain after a while, so I went back to the Kurosaki household. I was reluctant to, but I'd get drenched if I didn't.

Ichigo was in his room sitting in his bed. He looked anxious, and nervous. "Rukia! Where were you?!? I was so worried! I was looking everywhere for you!!" I looked down and opened the closet door. I felt his arms wrap around me. He carried me with ease onto his bed and sat me on his lap. I wanted to reject, but it felt so natural to be this close to him. "Stop ignoring me will ya?" He hugged me tight. "Rukia... I love you... And I want to be with you." A small gasp escaped my lips. "I rejected her. Yeah, Orihime is my friend. But a friend only. And that's what I told her. I also told her I was in love with someone else." He kissed my neck, then my cheek. I leaned against him and kissed him back.

I whispered, "I love you, to."

Earlier That Day

Orihime walked out of the school with tears streaming down her face. "Orihime? What's wrong?" Uryu met her at the front of the school. She looked at him with sad eyes and continued to sob. It started to drizzle lightly. He took out an umbrella from his bag. "Let me walk you home."
