Ichigo x Rukia

Karaoke

After being forced to come to this "karaoke" by Orihime, I sat at a chair not knowing what to do. "Hey Rukia." I looked up and saw Ichigo.

"How did they force you to come?" I asked.

"Someone told me you would be here. It was either Keigo or Mizuiro... I don't really remember."

"Hiii!!" Orihime came up to them. "Ichigo are you going to sing?"

"No." He said. "Rukia do you sing?"

"N-no..."

"Rukia I know you would have an awesome voice!! You can go first!!"

"I'd rather not..."

"If you want, you could go last then. If that'll be better."

"Um yeah." I quickly started to think of way I wouldn't have to go up on stage. Bathroom, head ache, tired... Michiru and Chizuru were up first. Then Orihime and Tasuki. Keigo tried to go up there, but his voice was terrible.

"Ok Rukia! You go next!"

"Uhh... My head hurts." Orihime grabbed me by my hand and brought me up stage. I tried to hold onto Ichigo, but he was no help. He actually wanted me to go up there.

"You'll do great!" he said.

"How about you go up there!" I shouted.

"I can't sing."

"Well neither can I!" I said using the same excuse as him.

"Impossible. I hear you sing in the shower." I blushed. They put on a song I knew. Ichigo told them. I really do not want to do this. The song came on and I started getting into it. I sang the first verse without a problem. I didn't even notice the eyes on me. I sang the second verse, then the third. Before I knew it, I managed to sing the whole thing. The song was over and everyone was quite. There wasn't any clapping, just staring.

"Wh-what?" I asked.

"Rukia! Your voice is like an angel!" Said Keigo. I looked at Ichigo. His eyes were wide and his cheeks were red. He held out a hand to me and helped me off stage before giving me a hug.

"That was beautiful."
