FAIRY TAIL: the next generation

Ryuzetsu Land

Storm arrived back at Luna's house at midnight the night before. He had gone home to have dinner with his family and to pack up for the trip. He slipped out the front door of his house and walked to Luna's with his backpack. He climbed up the tree out front to her window and knocked. Inside, Luna's eyes opened, and she climbed out of bed. Luna opened the window and Storm climbed in. He dropped his bag on the floor and pulled off his shoes. Luna shut the window and climbed back into her bed. Storm pulled off his t-shirt and dropped it on the floor. He climbed into the bed next to her and they fell asleep.

At 5 am the next morning, Lucy banged on Luna's door.

"Wake up!" Lucy called. "Our train leaves at 6! Let's go!"

Luna got up and opened the door. Lucy smiled.

"Get in the shower before your brother does and uses up all the hot water."

Lucy peered over Luna's shoulder.

"Morning Storm", she said.

Lucy turned and headed back downstairs. Luna grabbed her towel and headed to the bathroom. Storm got up and followed her. He grabbed a towel from the linen closet. Storm brushed his teeth while Luna took her shower. They switched when Luna finished.

Luna went into her room. She tied her wet hair up in a pony tail and opened her closet. She pulled on a white t-shirt, blue, denim shorts with a brown belt, and black converse. She tucked the white t-shirt in, but only behind the belt buckle. She took down her hair and rubbed it out with a towel. She grabbed her duffel bag and opened it. She grabbed all 3 of her swimsuits and dropped them in along with 2 beach towels, 4 pairs of sunglasses, her flipflops, and sun tan oil. She also packed her yellow sun dress, 2 pairs of shorts, sneakers, brown boots, 4 t-shirts, and other clothes.

Storm came in the room with a towel wrapped around his waist. He went to his backpack and pulled out some clothes. He changed quickly. He pulled on his backpack and waited for Luna. She grabbed a pair of black sunglasses from her bag before zipping it shut. Storm took her bag and carried it downstairs for her. He dropped their bags at the bottom of the stairs and joined everyone in the living room. Natsu and Lucy were sitting together on the couch. Nash was in a chair to the left with Nova on his lap. They were flipping through photo albums.

"Aw Nash look at this one", Lucy said pointing to a picture.

It was Lucy with a four-year-old Nash. Lucy's shirt said "I make cute babies" and Nash's said "I'm the cute baby".

Nash smiled.

Storm and Luna sat on the couch by Lucy and Natsu.

"Hey Lun, look it's the first time we set the house on fire", Natsu said.

It was a picture of Natsu and Luna looking at the ground while Lucy yelled at them. There were firemen putting the house out in the background. Luna laughed a little.

"Here's Luna's first day at school", Lucy said pointing to a picture. "Here's her getting expelled the next day for setting the lab on fire." She pointed to a different one on the same page. They all laughed at that one.

On the next page was a picture of Nash and Luna on the steps outside the guild hall. Luna was wearing some of Lucy's old clothes and had her hair up in a pony tail. She couldn't have been more than 13. Nash was about 15 and looked just like Natsu. Nash and Luna smiled at each other. It was a cute picture. The next picture was Nash and Luna at the Wizard's ball held at the palace. Luna was about 4 and Nash was 6. He was wearing a white dress shirt with black pants and a blue tie. We were dancing the Waltz. I had on a blue dress that matched his tie and a small tiara. I thought I was a princess back then.

"Okay", Lucy said. " Y'all ready to go."

There was a chorus of "yeah"s coming from everyone. We all decided to walk to the train station. Storm grabbed his and Luna's bags, Lucy pulled on her backpack and dragged her suitcase, and so on.

They all walked through Magnolia to the train station. Luna walked on the edge of the street by the river with her arms out. They talked and laughed the whole way to the station. They boarded a train and sat in a booth together. Luna and Storm fell asleep with her head on his shoulder and Storm's head resting on hers. Nash passed out on the floor from motion sickness. Nova stared out the window. Natsu laid across Lucy's lap with motion sickness as well.

The train arrived and everyone got off groggily. Lucy and Nova had to drag Nash and Natsu out. They walked through town to a hotel. They got three rooms: Storm & Luna, Nash & Nova, and Lucy & Natsu. They all went to their rooms to relax before dinner. They dressed in their fancy dresses and suits and went down to the Grand Dining Hall. They ate their dinner together, chatting about the upcoming magic games and the crowning of a new wizard saint.

Storm decided they'd all go to the ballroom in the hotel for dancing after supper. He took Luna by the hand and pulled her chair out for her. She was wearing a white dress with spaghetti straps, a sweetheart neckline, and a poofy skirt. Her silver, strappy heels made her almost as tall as Storm.

"Care to dance?" Storm asked.

"Why of course?" She said.

He placed his hand on the small of her back and pulled her closer. She placed one hand on his shoulder and he enclosed her other hand in his. They moved together with the music. As he stepped back and spun her, her dress twisted about her ever so dramatically.

The song finished and they all went to their separate rooms. Luna dug into Storm's bag and snatched a t-shirt to sleep in.

He was passed out in bed by the time she was finally ready to get in. She laid down next to him under the covers and cuddled up to him, her face in the crook of his neck. She fell asleep smiling.
