"C'mon, Frank, can't we talk about this?"

Gerard frowned at Frank from across the room. The guitarist had adorned himself completely in silver jewelry, from his lip ring to his bracelets. He glared at the vocalist.

"No."

"Look, I'm sorry. Can we please talk about this?"

"No."

"Seriously, she means nothing to me! I swear!"

"Then why do you hang around her!"

"She's an awesome friend!"

"I don't feel comfortable with her around though!"

Gerard sighed, rubbing his face. He looked back at Frank, their eyes meeting.

"Look, can you please take all of it off."

"No."

"C'mon, please?"

"No, Gerard."

"Seriously, that's not fair. Do you see me using stuff against you like that?"

"Because there's nothing you can use against me."

"Even if there was, would I?"

"Probably."

"FRANK!"

Frank glared at him, flipping him off. He was tempted to take one of the bracelets off and throw it at him, though he had enough self control not to do something like that. Gerard would have to explain to the fans why he had a 3rd degree burn on him in the shape of a bracelet. Plus, that would really hurt Gerard, and he didn't want to hurt him. He just wanted to piss him off.

"Fine. You aren't taking off the jewelry. Do you want me to take you out to dinner?"

"Sure."

"What do you want?"

"Italian."

Gerard sucked in his breath, trying not to scream at Frank's stubbornness.

"I swear to God, Frank..."

"You swear to do what? You can't touch me."

Gerard glared at Frank.

"Damn it!"

"You can't even get near me-"

"Shut up!"

"You can't do anything because you just a-"

"Don't say it!"

"You know it's true!"

"Society ruined it! Stephanie Meyer ruined it! Everyone ruined it!"

"'I know what you are'!" Frank mocked, smirking as he did it.

"Don't say it, Frank," Gerard growled, clenching his teeth together.

"VAMPIRE!"

"AUGH! SHUT UP!"

Gerard let out a angered scream and flopped down on the couch with exasperation. Frank crossed his arms and glared.

"Look, don't rub it in my face, alright!"

"I don't get why you're so unhappy about it, considering your obsession with them."

"That book ruined it."

"So? Quit whining about it."

Gerard looked up at Frank, snarling. His fangs glinted white.

"How about you shut your goddamn mouth, and come crying to me when YOU get turned. It's not all fun and games, Frank. It sucks. And you're just being a dick about it."

"You're being a dick by hanging out with her!"

"Frank! It's platonic! Nothing between us! I promise!"

"Then why do you hang out with her more than you do me?! You spend more time with her and her band then you do us, Gerard! Is she better than us? Is she better than me?!"

Gerard suddenly got extremely quiet, and stared down at the floor.

"I...I didn't realize..."

"You should have, Gerard! Answer me! Is she better than us?!"

"..."

"Is she?!"

He sighed.

"No..."

"What?!"

"No! She isn't! You know how I feel about you Frank, and you know how much the guys mean to me! Why would you even think for a second that I would choose her and her band over the 5 of us?!"

"Because I'm scared that we aren't good enough for you, Gerard!"

Gerard got quiet again, this time Frank joining in the silence.

"You're scared?"

Frank looked down at the floor, nodding.

"You don't need to worry about that, alright?"

Frank nodded again, sniffling and tearing up. Gerard immediately jumped up from the couch and rushed over to give him a hug.

"Wait!" Frank yelled out, stopping him. Gerard looked confused, "Let me take all this shit off."

Frank slowly took out the piercings, and took off all the bracelets. He set them on the table beside him.

"Where in the hell did you even get all that silver shit?" Gerard asked. Frank shrugged, as the older guy wrapped his arms around him in a hug. Frank rest his head on Gerard's chest, letting himself be engulfed by the hug.

"I promise, I won't choose anyone over you. Trust me."

"Promise?"

Gerard looked down at him, smiling.

"Promise."

He leaned down to kiss him.

****

"You promised. You fucking promised," Frank muttered to himself. The band was about to go on stage. He watched as Gerard kissed Lindsey on the forehead, smiling. He promised he wouldn't choose Lindsey over him, but there they were. Married and as happy as could be. Frank felt betrayed and angry.

"Damn it, Gerard. I thought I meant something to you."

Frank grabbed Pansy and prepared to go out on stage. He gave one final look to Gerard, and shook his head. He needed to clear his head. There was music to play and songs to sing.
