Chapter 12 •Death•

Theo didn't go back to where the dread doctors were. Instead he went home, he was a terrible person, a terrible boyfriend. He couldn't even protect Sam. He lay in bed, knowing full well that he was going to not get any sleep. The image of Sam bleeding out still in his head. The way that you couldn't tell if it  her blood or her dress. He really hoped that it worked. That she would be a werewolf and no longer a chimera.

Theo woke up from the nightmare. He looked out his window. It was raining. He had to relive what the dread doctors had done to Sam. Watching them stab her. Having to trust Scott to save her life. The love of his life would either die or would become a werewolf. He had no idea what would happen. And he knew he should be there but he couldn't bring himself to. He hated himself for putting Samantha in danger. He didn't care who else died just not Samantha. She couldn't die. Theo closed his eyes again. After he got more sleep he would go and see how she was doing.

Samantha woke up. She felt fine. She got up and walked into the bathroom. She was still in her winter formal dress. She went back into her room and got some of her clothes. Then stripped and took a long hot shower. She noticed the bite mark on her arm. 'He bit me!?' She though. Why had he bitten......Sam started to remember. The dread doctors had tried to kill her. She got out and dried off. And she dressed. She dried her hair off. Sam noticed that her eyes where red again. So she was still an alpha. That was weird. She blinked and her eyes went back to blue. Sam went down to the kitchen. Where she was greeted by Scott.
"You're alive" he said.
"Yes. And you bit me"
"you were dying. I did it for you. Not because your boyfriend asked."
"You tried to kill him."
"It was an act." He told her
"So I would kill you? Where is he anyways?"
"Home. He's sulking."
"He's not aloud to sulk." Sam said
"Why?"
"Because he just isn't. I'm upset that he isn't here."
"He was worried about you. And he feels responsible."
"Does he?" She asked
"Yes. He begged me to save your life."
"And it worked. My eyes are still red. So that means I'm still an alpha."
"Really?"
"Yes"
"You hungry?"
"Starving."
"My mom left me some pizza rolls. I'm making some right now"
"Great" she smiled.

Sam looked at the group. "You want me to tell you everything that Theo told me about himself?" She asked

Stiles nodded "yes."

"Okay. Well he told me about how he regretted not helping his sister. He said that he was frozen in shock. He had no idea what to do. When they moved away the dread doctors found him." She said

"Did he tell you about anything like about a transparent or something?"

"I don't think so." She said

"Then how is he a chimera?"

"Maybe he doesn't want to talk about it." She said

"Must be a reason why" stiles said.

"Look I'm not in the mood for one of your Theo is evil stories. If you don't believe me have Scott check his memories. "

"If he allows us." Stiles said

"I'll convince him." Sam said

"I'm sure you can convince him or anything." Lydia said

"Pretty much." Sam smiled. "But he wouldn't lie to me right?" Lydia looked at Sam. So was everyone else.
"What?"
"Your nose" Lydia said "it's bleeding. Mercury." Sam put her hand just below her nose.
"It didn't work." She said. "I'm still a chimera." Stiles hugged her. "And i'm still dying."
"I'm sorry" stiles said.
"Well then you won't die alone." Lydia said "and we won't let the dread doctors kill you."
Sam nodded "thanks." She hugged stiles back. "Make sure you avenge me. Kill those bastard doctors. And make them pay." She whispered to stiles.

A few hours later

Theo knew it would not work. But he had to try. He wouldn't let the dread doctors kill Sam. He held her in his arms. Not for the last time but for a while. It still sucked that she had to die. But Theo would bring her back. With a few others to be in his pack.
