Chapter 16 •With Great Power Comes Great Loss•

Samantha walked to the pack house. To hear Theo's decision. She heard voices. She decided to stay hidden and see what would happen.
"I have let you keep me captive." Deucalion said pulling out the wolfsbane drip out of his arm. "I let you capture me."  He stood up. "I will show you how to take power." Sam watched as Deucalion threw Theo against the railing. Snapping his wrist.
"You feel that Theo? That's the secret to taking power. Pain. Take their pain take their life. Take their power. It's all of nothing." He threw Theo to the floor. "You take till there's nothing left to give." Theo put his wrist back into place. "That is where you find the spark of power." Deucalion told him. "Then you take that as well. Pain. Life. Power in that order. And only that order. You understand?"
"Perfectly." Theo responded he stood up. He turned to josh. Stabbing him with his claws. Taking everything from him.
"I can feel it."
"Good. Because you jus frost yourself one more member of a small and inexperienced pack."
"Actually two" Samantha said walking out. "I told you to make your choice Theo and clearly you have. Power is more important to you than me." She jumped over the railing and walked over to him. "I told you to choose me or you would lose. I am not your backup plan and defiantly not your second choice. So if this little power trip fails I will not except you back." She told him. "You are not the man I fell in love with. Not the man I knew at the beginning of this year. And if this is who you really are then I want nothing to do with you." Samantha turned and left. Walking out, Theo watched her leave.
"They both weren't loyal" Tracy said. "Samantha might get in our way."
"Josh was easy, Samantha won't be, I've seen her fight. She learned from Kira."
"She needs to be taken care of."
"She won't bother us Tracy. She told me she was leaving. And that I could join her or stay. She won't be coming back."
"Good. Because if she does I will kill her Theo."
"You really are ready to risk it all aren't you Theo. To get what you want." Deucalion.

Sam got into her car and drove off. Leaving beacon hills. She was half a mile a way when stiles called her.
"What?"
"Sam we need you" he said
"Theo killed off josh. Sooner or later he will kill Tracy. This isn't my fight," she hung up on him. Driving to an airport.

Stiles looked at Scott and Lydia "she's not coming back. Theo has Josh's power now."
"She will come back." Lydia said "she's our friend. She will be back."
"Hopefully soon" Scott said "we need everyone we can to fight the beast. For now we use Theo to find Mason."
"I don't like the idea but it's all we have."
