I was just a fan. That's all I was to him.
I had been following Yoandri Cabrera on Youtube for a while now. Ever since he was eliminated from La Banda, I always kept up on his latest tweets and covers. It had been two years since he was eliminated but he was still very active on the music scene. He had been a little quiet on social media lately but he had hinted at something big coming up.
He hadn't been too secretive about it though; I managed to put the pieces together from Facebook, Twitter and Snapchat that he was going to meet up with some big people over in LA to talk about an offer for a record deal.
I knew that if I was going to have a chance at meeting my sunshine, it would be now.
I just didn't expect to be pulled into his world as fast as I did.
