I had just sat down at a table to wait for them when I see Xoch and Emily walk into the food court. The walked in laughing, as you could probably imagine two teenage girls in any typical movie. I looked at them, wondering if they saw me, but I noticed that if I wouldn't have known them, I could catch a glimpse of their personalities by just looking at how they carried themselves.

Emily is really confident in herself, shoulders up and a determined gaze in her eyes; she was wearing ripped blue denim jeans, a form fitting white tee and a cute red flannel that fit her as if it was made for her and her caramel colored hair was pulled up in her perfectly messy signature bun, resting atop her head. Xoch contrasted with Emily, wearing a more trendy style. She had on a light burgundy long sleeve knit sweater, she was wearing a short black fabric circle shirt, along with simple black tights and her favorite bootie heels.   Xoch had long, jet black hair that swayed beautifully as she walked.  She was the most athletic out of all of us, and you could tell that she was a runner by looking at her muscles that hid underneath her tights. Just then, Xoch spots me sitting down, and her eyes brightened up, she taps Emily on her arm, and they start hurrying towards me, I stand up from my seat, and we all embrace in a giant group hug, since we hadn't seen each other for months.

"CASSIE!" Emily exclaimed, "It's been FOREVER!" I laugh and I shrug, and I laugh again, just thinking about how much I loved and missed these two girls. We sit at the table, and instantly we start talking about how we've been and what's going on in our lives. Xoch confesses that she joined a sorority at her university, even after all the times we spent making jokes about sororities while we would watch the typical high school movies at our sleepover/movie nights. Emily had told us that she would often crash parties with her roommate and that she'd gone to so many parties this past semester, she had lost count. Honestly, I wasn't surprised, she had always been the one to drag us to parties.

"So what's new with you, Cass?" Xoch asks me.

"Well, I, uh, kinda had a dream come true, I guess? It's been so crazy I don't even know where to begin," I stammer out, pretty sure I'm blushing so hard just thinking about everything that's happened to Yoandri. Both Emily and Xoch lean in across the table, as if not to miss a single word that would come out of my mouth. I tell them, "Why don't we grab our food first, because I've got a lot to say, and we might as well start eating while I talk." We head over to the food booths, Emily and I go for pizza, while Xoch heads over for the sub sandwich shop.

We grab our food and we sit back down, and I begin to go into detail on how it all started out at the airport, and how it all took off from there. I told them about his phone calls, about the impromptu date to McDonalds, and even how we were gonna hang out Friday and how that was the reason why I wanted to go outfit shopping. Emily and Xoch were paying more attention to me than their food, and I'd hear an occasional gasp or suppressed squeal coming out from them every now and then.

"I still don't understand how the hell you got to meet him and get to know him like that, it's insane," Emily says with an expression of wonder on her face.

"You know what I can't believe," Xoch says, "I can't believe that we're talking about the possibility of a romance between you two now, when you used to fangirl like crazy over him just a few years ago!" I blush and look down, remembering how embarrassing I used to be around my friends when Yoandri was still on the show, and even then I still fangirl over him, just to a lesser degree, but I still do.

"I honestly don't know how I ended up here, talking to him, this all feels like a dream," I confess to them. Out of nowhere, my cellphone starts ringing, and I have no idea who it is. It obviously wasn't Xoch or Emily, being that they were right in front of me, and I don't think it would be my mom or Sophie. Could it be Yoandri?

"Hold up guys, let me see who it is," I tell them, pausing our conversation. I didn't believe it when my caller id on my phone lit up with Yoandri's name. Was he going to cancel our plans for Friday? I really hope my gut feeling was wrong. My stomach started churning and twisting up as I tapped on the green button to answer his call, maybe it hadn't been such a good idea to have lunch right now. I had absolutely no idea what was coming.

So I originally had plans for a longer chapter, I was supposed to finish up the mall scene in this chapter but someone had suggested to cut it off there for dramatic purposes :)
