***Yoandri's POV***
"Are you done texting your girl?"
"Joel, shut up she's not my girlfriend"
I had gone to my audition and after I finished, I met up with the CNCO boys just as we had planned. It had been a really long time since we had all hung out, and I felt emotionally and physically drained after the audition; I needed some down time to relax.
I had just texted Cassie about our plans for Friday, but as always, I wasn't going to hear the end of it from Joel. He likes making fun of me whenever there's a new girl in my life, which doesn't happen often. He makes fun of me because I used to poke fun at him for not having too much experience with the girls. Even if we would tease each other, Joel was one of the few people I could trust entirely. He knew about my past relationships and secrets and I knew about those secret flings he had.
"Seriously, she's not my girlfriend," I tell him, not yet anyways...
"You think you're gonna fool me with that? You've been staring at your phone constantly waiting for a reply from her; for someone that isn't your girlfriend, you must be really attached to her."
I didn't want to believe that I had taken such a strong liking to Cassie so fast, but if Joel had started taking notice of it, I guess I couldn't hide it anymore.
Just then, I heard a loud crash behind me that startled both Joel and I. We were in one of the boys' hotel rooms and I heard Zabdiel and Erick laughing their asses off because they broke something in the little living room area the hotel had.
"Ya regresamos!" I heard a familiar voice call out, along with a distinctive laugh coming from the front of the room.
Chris and Richard walked into the room, they had gone to go buy beers for everyone. I'll be honest, that life didn't appeal to me, but I stuck around with them because I had really missed them, even if they had changed just a little bit because of the fame.
"So does your friend have any hot friends, or a hot sister?" Joel said returning to our conversation while taking the beer Richard was offering him. He offered me one but I decided against it.
"Well she has a sister, but I don't know how you feel about fourteen year olds" I say, joking around.
"Hmm, I don't know, it depends," Joel says, with a forced serious face, he takes a swig out of his beer, and chuckles a bit, "Nah, I'm just kidding... unless she's really hot haha"
I shake my head in disapproval. Joel had always been cheeky but sometimes he would get a little bit out of control. But, he was still my best friend, and he knew me better that myself sometimes.
"Well in any case I don't even know if Cassie is going to bring her sister but I really don't think her sister is your type anyways." I tell him.
"I'm actually really curious to meet your girl, well your friend," Joel says with a smirk.
I roll my eyes at his comment but I laugh imagining what it would be like if she really was my girlfriend...
Just then the other boys decide to join us, and we all catch up with what they've been doing and what I've been doing. I tell them about my audition and how it went, and they tell me about their adventures and how the touring life is a whirlwind for them. I thought I had known these boys but they've all grown so much musically and experienced so much already, it almost makes me intimated about the whole idea of super stardom. I thought I already had an idea of what being famous was like but compared to the CNCO boys, I knew nothing.
Talking to them made me feel like I was at home, I felt like I belonged where I was, right there and then. I didn't notice how fast the time flew as we all talked straight on into the deep of the night.
