The Last Hope

Surprise

"Mr Lee, your daughter is coming" his secretary said through the intercom.
"Asked her to come in"
"Mijoo-shi, you can come in now"
"Thanks" she replied with her sweet smile.

Mijoo walked to his dad's office. It's kinda weird for her because her dad never called her to come to his office. She just finished her classes before her driver speed up to her father's office. She knocked the door.

"Dad?"
"Come in"

Her father is sitting at his his table while looking for his paperwork. Mijoo just sit at one of the sofa in his room. As her father saw her, he leave his work and sit in front of his daughter.

"So, what is the important thing you want to discuss? You know we can discuss at home"
"I'm sorry, baby girl. But tonight, I'm off to China" he said. "Again?" she whined
"I'm sorry, darling. That's why I asked Mr.Kim to send you here after the class."
"It's okay. So, what's the main point I'm here?"

Mr.Lee take a deep breath before speak.

"Do you know how much I want to expend our business international" Mijoo nodded.
"Do you still remember my friend from China, Mr Tuan? The one we ate dinner together last month?"
"Yes. Your weird friends"
"He agreed to help me to expand my company there. But with one condition"
"Dad"
"Mr Tuan has a son, Mark" Mijoo looked at her father weirdly.
"Can you just straight to the point?"
"The condition that Mr Tuan wants me to fulfill is, you married with his son" he said
"WHAT?!"
"Mijoo, you know I hated to repeat things twice"
"But, I'm only 20"
"NO excuses, Mijoo. You must help me"
"DAD!" she shouted.
"Don't shout at me, Lee Mijoo. I'll be back next weekend and I'll bring Mark over. Be prepared"
"Dad, you're too mean" she said before went out from the room.

Mijoo cried hard. Her soul is in pain. Tears slowly came down to her cheek. She quickly make her pace to the driver.

"Mr.Kim, mom's" the driver nodded before speed up
