Raman's POV

I kept checking my phone in between my work for a text message from my dear wifey since we ended our call.

I am sure the minute she ends reading the first chapter of the novel she is going to send me a message.

I was getting impatient and I could not have my mind focus on the work.

So I finally sent her a text "Waiting for the feedback" and kept biting my nails.

Ping my phone screen blinked at the arrival of a new message. I hurriedly reached for it.

"Can't u c the DO NOT DISTURB board?" came her reply.

Oh! She is still reading. I chuckled at my impatience and her witty reply.

"Sorry Madam. Galti hogayi" I replied to her with a folding hands emoji.

"U r still dstrbng me Raman" she sent.

"Oops sorry" I said.

"OMG! Aap nahi sudhroge. Ab no more msgs till I fnsh reading. Ok, Yes, Haan, Right kuch bhi nahi. Samjhe?"

Eeeks...lagta hai madam sach me naraz hogayi. It's better not to mess with her now.

Chalo beta madam ko padhne do aur khud kaam pe lag jaao. Aur koi option bhi to nahi hai. Sigh!10 mins later...

Ping...Ping...Ping...Ping...Ping...My phone kept screaming for being tortured with continuous incoming messages.

I wondered rather worried who it could be.""""""""""

The chat window was flooded with ROFL emoticons.

The sender was none other than my very own Jhansi Ki Rani.

"Kya hua?" I asked

"" came the reply again.

"Arey kya hua batao to" I asked worried.

"Raman OMG "

"Pagalpan ka daura pad gaya kya?" I was irritated now.

"Shayad Jo bhi is chapter ko padhega usko pagalpan ka daura padega hi "

"Oh to aapne chapter complete kiya madam"

"Haan ji...And I can't stop laughing Raman "

"Arey bas bhi karo. WhatsApp ke baki emoticons bura maan jayenge" I teased.

"Jisko bura maanna hai maane. Mai to hasungi bhai " she said.

"Itna funny tha kya?" I doubted. I didn't find it so funny.

"Aur nahi to kya. Mai to itna hasi ke Ansh aur Ruhi ko laga ke unke Mumma ke jism me earthquake aagaya" she replied.

Nautanki I thought...

"Now that's an exaggeration" I replied.

"No it was not" she said adamantly.

"Of course it was"

"Whatever! I to LOVED it bas" she gave the final verdict.

"You LOVED what?" I asked naughtily

"The CHAPTER obviously" she said

"Only the chapter?"
