Traveler

I'll walk in as a stranger just to say hi.

Ask how's it going, how time has flown by.

Any chance we might get back to where we were before?

I don't know how much more of this I can endure.

You may think that i'm not still the same.

But, I promise you that time hasn't touched I remain unchanged.

And I know, you may have your doubts you've heard it all before.

But, I promise I'm still the same, the one you once adored.

Separate experiences hide the bigger story.

How you could never go through that again and that's what blows me.

You've forgotten what it means to take a chance.

You won't have that anymore, immune to that romance.

I walk away thinking that I'm done here.

Maybe things will be different and you'll let go of that fear.

I'll be waiting for you, the man you once adored.

But I forgot, you've heard it all before.
