*a bit of a continuation of "It's a Beginning to Look a Lot Like Christmas*

"Stiles, dad, Stiles, dad." Stiles hears, and Stiles turns his head to see Isaac and Scott chanting his name as they stand at the doorway. Stiles isn't sure what they want, they've been inside all day since its too cold outside for them to be outside in this weather. Stiles didn't expect that it would snow for days, having two nine year old's in his house was a little unnerving even when his husband was here. "Dad. We're bored. Can we go outside?" Scott asks him, pulling on his shirt with a frustrated sigh.

"Scotty, no, buddy. I told you it too cold to go outside just yet. Isaac is already kinda of sick so I don't want to make it worth." Stiles says, and Scott huffs while Isaac gives him an apologetic look to say that he's sorry for being sick which Stiles finds so cute but not enough to let them go outside. "Just go watch cartoons and you can go outside to greet Derek when he gets home, okay?" Stiles tries, hopping that that is going to be enough incentive to go be quiet so Stiles can continue to make dinner. He doesn't know why that he volunteered to have a Christmas dinner at his house, he blames Derek and his stupid kissable lips and his stupid suggestion to have his family over to meet his new family, and he makes sure that Scott and Isaac are playing nice.

"Daddy's home!" Isaac says, jumping up to get his jacket and shoes on as quickly as he can but Scott is already out the door. He's not really running to Derek instead he's running around in the snow to throw it in to the air while Isaac runs to Derek. He's still small enough that Derek can easily pick him up, which isn't difficult since Derek can carry Stiles, and Stiles looks out the window before he goes out while Isaac tells Derek about his day. "And Stiles made me soup, but I feel better." Isaac says, resting his head on Derek's shoulder.

"That's good. Where is Stiles?" Derek asks him, and Isaac points to Stiles before squirming to get down to play with Scott for a moment. Derek doesn't think that he should be in the cold, and Stiles walks out. "You're wearing an apron." Derek comments, and Stiles wipes his hands off before he kisses him gently. "Hi. I'm all yours until next year." Derek tells him, and Stiles grins at him. "I mean. I'm always yours. But I'm more yours." Derek tells him, and Stiles kisses him.

"Good. You can watch the kids since my shift starts in an hour." Stiles says, and Derek nods his head. "Kids, inside." Stiles yells, getting a groan from Scott but Isaac rushes into the house since he's probably cold. "My shift is over at eleven. I'll put the ham on when I get home and the family is going to be here at about nine." Stiles says, and Derek nods his head. "This is your fault. Our first Christmas time together and you have to ruin it with our family." Stiles says, teasing but sort of serious. "But we need to wrap the gifts before Scott tears up the house." Stiles sighs, and Derek laughs as they walk in.

Scott is trying to push himself behind the couch, most likely trying to look for gifts, and Isaac whispers his name when he sees Stiles. "I'm not doing anything." Scott says, quickly and Stiles rolls his eyes as he waves him upstairs. "You should have told me he was coming!" Scott whispers to Isaac, and Isaac's lips wobbles as he nods his head.

"No tears on Christmas!" Derek says, not wanting his son to cry or for Scott to tease him and get into trouble. Isaac reaches out for him, and Derek picks him up before he ruffles Scott's head. "Why don't you go see if Stiles needs help?" Derek asks Isaac, and he turns towards Scott. "And I'll take you outside for a few minutes." Derek says, and Scott brightens up as he nods his head rapidly before he turns to run upstairs. Isaac squirms down to run into the kitchen, and Stiles smiles at him when he sees him.

"Hey, buddy boy. Gonna help me?" Stiles asks him, and Isaac nods his head while he watches Derek take Scott outside. He's about to tell him that Scott shouldn't be outside, but he figures that he'll use the moment to go do some wrapping. "Okay, you keep an eye on the timer and I'll go do something." Stiles says, and Isaac nods his head as Stiles leaves. He'll hopefully be able to get a few wrapped up, and he throws thing together until he hears the door open and close.

"Dad!" Scott calls, and Stiles rushes down the stairs to greet him since he doesn't want him to see what he was up too. Scott doesn't notice him, and Stiles breathes out as he goes to get the rest of the food together as best he can for tomorrow. Stiles loves the holidays, but he's ready from them to be over. That is until he looks over to see Derek singing Christmas songs.
