After our little encounter Jay and Destiny decided to ride with me. Nae had to stay after school for a club meeting. Jay sat in the passengers seat and Destiny sat in the back. When we got in the car Jay immediately started drilling me.
"What is this I hear about a Jakarie?"
"Umm, his name is Jamarie and he just somebody that has 1st period with me."
"Okay, why were y'all flirting?"
"We weren't so whoever told you that is lying"
"Mmhm, let me find out the kid got the feels I'm whooping some ass"
I just rolled my eyes and laughed, this boy is so damn overprotective. That's why he's my bestfriend, I know Jay will always and forever have my back. After he was done interrogating my ass I decided to change the subject.
"Destiny, you real quiet back there what you doing?"
I looked in the rear view to glance at her, and she was back there blushing mad hard and typing away.
I cleared my throat and threw her a side eye. She finally looked up and she got this blank expression on her face.
"Ah, got your face!" Jay said and making a motion like he was actually snatching her face.
I was dying that boy is so special. She just rolled her eyes and smirked. She started typing on her phone again before Jay turned around and snatched it from her hand. "Who is King 'heart eye emoji, smirk emoji, water drop emoji?" Jay asked. I don't know why but I started cracking up, that boy is so childish. Destiny crossed her arms over her chest and turned on her princess attitude. She poked her lip out and just stared at Jay the whole ride back to my house while Jay still had her phone. When we got to my house Destiny was the first one out of the car and at the door waiting for me to unlock it. Jay thought it was hilarious. After I unlocked the door and we were inside Jay grabbed Destiny and threw her over his shoulder even though he knows she's scared of heights.
"You mad at me little sister" Jay said. Destiny just started hitting his back and yelling for him to put her down.
"Nope not until you say you forgive me Dec (his nickname for her since freshman year)" Jay shouted over her screaming.
"Ugh, OKAY JAY I FORGIVE YOU! PUT ME DOWN NOW!!!" she yelled
"Ok, shorty" Jay said before putting her back down on her feet and handing her her phone.
"We'll talk about 'King with the emojis' later"
She just rolled her eyes and went to the kitchen, me and Jay followed behind her.

After we had all eaten and hung out for a while Jay called his mom to come pick him and Destiny up from my house. When they left I took a 30 minute shower and started back on my homework. I had a couple projects to finish up. While I was doing that I got a text from an unknown number.
912-232-5687 : Hey ma.
Me: Who is this?
Unknown #: Your future Hubby.
Me: Stop playing or I'ma block yo ah.
Unknown #: Dang Ma it's like that. This Jamarie btw
Me: Ugh. how u get my number anyway
Jamarie: I got my sources. Wyd rn
Me: Homework, why ?
Jamarie: Be ready in about 20.
Me: What?!! What u mean be ready in 20, how do u know where I live?
I didn't get a reply after that. I didn't get all fancy because I wasn't planning on going ANYWHERE with him. I pulled some sweatpants over my Victoria Secret PJ shorts and left my crop top on. I pulled my hair into a high ponytail and put on my Columbia 4's, and just waited.
