Chapter 7: Damn.

Jamarie POV

I didn't mean to get so rough with her, but she was pissing me completely off. I knew she was crying because I heard her sniffle a couple times. I don't usually care if I hurt a girls feelings but it wasn't that deep for me to go off on her like that. Layla had to be extremely hurt because she was extremely cold towards me the whole ride, she just looked out her window the whole time. I tried to play some music I thought she'd like but she gave me no reaction. Once I pulled up to her house she got out without even a glance my way and went straight inside. A car was in the driveway so I guess her dad was home now. I went to the trap to check on some stuff before going home. My right hand man was there holding it down so I went home. I could not stop thinking about Layla so I shot her a few text messages. She didn't reply to any of them which I kind of expected. It was late and although I had no intention of being to school on time, I said my prayers and went to bed.
The next morning*

It's 7:30 and I'm getting a call from one of my boys, this shit better be important.
"Yo" I say when I answer the phone.
"Nigga, get up you must've forgot we have business to handle today." It's my boy Rashad.
"Ah hell, that's not till later on nigga leave me the hell alone. I'm tired and I got school."
"Aww, look at my mans all collegiate and shit. I guess I could handle the prep by myself." I burst into a fit of laughter.
"You wildin' make sure you keep me up on what's going on, I'll see you later on bro."
"Ight G, bye." With that Shad hung up. I tried to go back to sleep but thoughts of last night began to cloud my mind again. School was starting soon so I decided I'd just start getting ready. After I was done showering and brushing my teeth I went into my room to pick out my outfit. I put on a white polo shirt, a pair of jeans, and a pair of Jordan 9s.
