I see the note book slide,under,the door ans hear something drop on the,floor and I suddenly kniw what he was going to do so I start banging on the door hoping he would feel the vibrations and unlock the door. fortunately, he does and unlocks the door. I open the door and immediately engulf him in a hug. he started crying on my shoulder and I just hug him tighter and rub his back. after about 10 minutes he starts to calm down and I,pick up the blade and throw it away. I pick him up and walk to my room and set him on the bed. ' why?' I sign to him. ' the voices'  he signed back after a minute. ' Jack what they are telling you are not true, your the smartest kid I have ever met. your brave as well. don't think being deaf makes you an outcast. it just makes you unique and even more special. don't think cutting is the solution. you are beautiful just the way you are and I could not think of anyone that means more to me than you do Jack. please tell me the next time you feel like this. I can't lose you too'. I hesitate on the last part and,look at him. he looks shocked for a second then starts crying. I hug him as tight as I can without hurting him. after 15 minutes he starts to calm down.' thank you.' he signs to me. ' I meant all of it'. I sign back. he nodded and just layed down and looked at me. so I laid down and he automatically snuggled up to me putting his head on my chest and his arm drapped over my stomach. I put my arms around him and held him tightly. I think I'm,falling for this boy. I thought before falling asleep.
