Tiffany's POV

I ran until I stubbed my toe on something I didn't see in the sidewalk, and I started hopping up and down clutching my foot, muttering profanities under my breath.

Curse my bare feet and pajamas!

My pajamas!!

My mouth popped open as I realized how I must look to everyone. I silently cursed at myself some more, tenderly setting my foot down. I looked around seeing that people were in fact staring at me.

"A dog, umm... was chasing me." I tried to explain lamely. The people shrugged and continued walking, still looking at me strangely.

Right.

"Tiffany!" I heard Rose call. I winced, and dodged into the nearest store, which happened to be a clothing store.

"Oi!" Called a different voice. Security. "Oi, little girl! You need actual clothes and shoes to be in here!" I turned to the man walking toward me.

"I am NOT a little girl!!" I shouted before taking off towards the woman's clothes. Once there I grabbed a random pair of pants and a shirt before heading to the changing room, hoping they would fit.

I quickly rushed into a changing room and bolted the door. Then, I changed quickly, into the almost-to-small pants and baggy Jurassic Park shirt. I ripped off the price tags, wincing, because I was not a fan of theft. But this could be a life or death situation. I didn't know if the Doctor whatever his name was wanted to hurt me. I couldn't take the chance.

I quickly pulled my hair up into a ponytail (which showed most of my dark brown highlights instead of my dark blonde hair) with the hair tie I always kept on my wrist and slowly exited the room, looking probably extremely guilty.

I would make a terrible thief.

I quickly rounded the corner and walked (unconvincingly) casually to the front of the store. I reached the door and walked out without incident, and sighed with relief.

"Hello, dear Tiffany," said a sly voice. I froze. It was not one I knew.

Gah, who could possibly know Tiffany? Any ideas? No?

WELL YOU'LL HAVE TO WAIT UNTIL RHE NEXT CHAPTER THEN!! MUAHAHAHA!!!
