Lost In The Music

Chapter 4

*Harry's view*  

I waited till the afternoon to text her as I wasn't sure if she would be awake or not. I needed some way to make it up to her, I mean she didn't deserve to be treated how I treated her yesterday. It had been over half an hour till she finally replied..

'Ok sure, but it doesn't mean I forgive you - L'  

I knew it would be hard to win her over but her agreeing to go for dinner makes it all slightly easier.

It was 3.30 now so I decided to go and make reservations at Nandos, I didn't want to go somewhere to fancy as that's not really my thing. I texted Lucy telling her to be ready for 7, grabbed my keys and went to the car.  

*Lucy's view*   

I knew I shouldn't have agreed to the date, he didn't deserve it really, but I guess I had to go now..  

It was nearly 4 so I still had 3 hours to get ready, I hopped into the shower. The feeling of the hot water scolded my body but I liked it that way, it relaxed all my muscles and I didn't feel so tense.  

After I'd finished up in the shower I wrapped a towel around myself and walked to my bedroom. I had no idea what to wear. I'd never been on a date before, let alone with a celebrity. I decided on a cute floral summer dress and nude flats.

I applied a little mascara and nude lip gloss, I didn't want to try too hard. I put my hair into a middle parting and lightly curled the ends. I must admit I actually looked quite nice for a change.  

I checked my phone and it was about quarter to seven, all I had to do now was wait.  

*Harry's view*  

I didn't want to be late so I left half an hour early, I texted Luce to ask what her adress was and typed it into my satnav. I was so nervous, I needed to calm down. I drove around her block a few times trying to shake my nerves, when I finally parked near her house it was 6:56, I think I made good timing.  

I sorted out my hair in my rear view mirror, took a deep breath and got out of the car. I walked up to her door and was just about to knock when it swung open, she was waiting for me.

"Er, hi sorry about that." she said awkwardly, a red tint forming on her cheeks.

"Its fine" I chuckled "are you ready to go beautiful?" She nodded looking slightly embarrassed.   

We got in the car and drove to Nandos, I didn't realise that the paps had found out about our dat- I mean meal..  

I felt pretty bad when I looked over to see Lucy squinting from the blinding camera flashes, she looked sort of scared. I quickly squeezed her hand before getting out and going to open her door. She smiled looking grateful as she hopped out of the car.  

*Lucy's view*  

We basically ran into Nandos, both avoiding questions from the paps. I couldn't believe the amount of them that were there. I've never even seen the paparazzi in real life, let alone be photographed by them.  

As we were shown our seats we both looked doubtful as we were placed near to a window however there were no other seats available so we just tried to ignore the constant flashing.  

"Come on love, lets get out of here" Harry whispered into my ear, his voice made me tingle all over.  

*Harry's view*  

I had called the boys and asked them to set up a little something just in case this happened, the paparazzi always appear wherever I go. I was lucky that a beach was only about 10 minutes away from where Lucy lived or I don’t know what I would have done!

“Where are we going?” “Is it far? I don’t want to be too late home” She continued to ask questions like this the whole journey; I just laughed and told her to be patient. I was just praying that she liked what I’d planned, if not I’m screwed.

We finally reached the clearing that led to the beach; I grabbed a scarf from my glove compartment, despite her reluctance, I proceeded to tie it around Lucy’s head as some sort of blind fold. Anyway it was more fun this way.

*Lucy’s view*

I had no idea what was going on when he came round and helped me out of the car, it was pretty difficult to do such a task on my own when I couldn’t see a single thing.

Harry took my hand and led me to wherever it was we were going, he gave me several directions so that I wouldn’t end up flat on my face.

“We’re nearly there Luce” I really liked it when he called me that, only Ali did really. After he had said this though I began to hear music, I think it was actually a One Direction song I’m not sure.

Harry span me round and removed my blind fold, I was shocked at how much effort he and put into this. There was a blanket spread across the sand, candles scattered all in the rocks, a picnic hamper and a small speaker from which the music was coming from.

It was perfect.

“What do you think?” He asked, I could hear his nerves in his voice, he was so cute.

“I absolutely love it” I replied, ruffling his hair “thank you” I whispered as we sat down.

*2 hours later*

We had been chatting and laughing for what seemed like forever, I knew quite a bit about him now, like he had one sister, his favourite colour was blue and he loved tacos. But it was nearing 10:00 and the darkness was soon going to engulf us.

“Maybe, we should get going soon?” I asked Harry, he nodded and seemed to go really quiet.

 "Let me just pack all this up and then I’ll drop you home” he answered about 5 minutes later.

*Harry's view*

I really had the urge to just lean over and kiss her. Her lips looked so kissable, just as i had this thought, irresistible played in the background..

"It makes your lips 

So kissable

And your kiss 

Unmissable

Your fingertips

So touchable

And your eyes

Irresistible"

At that I leaned in for a kiss, however she turned her head and my lips collided with her cheek. I saw tears forming in her eyes.

What had I done.
