11:20am
"Woo!" I squealed at the top of my lungs as I grabbed my graduation cap and flung it up in the air, the biggest smile on my face. High school is finally over.
Arms wrapped around my waist, pulling me back into an all too familiar embrace. I turned around and looked up at my best friend, Daniel, whose grin was even bigger than mine,
"We're free!" he exclaimed, squeezing me tight. He released me, punching the air, "Ha! Suck on that, losers!" he yelled to no one in particular, "We're finally finished!"
I rolled my eyes, looping my arm in his as we escaped the crowd to go join our families, "Next is university."
He was still smiling, "Hey, don't ruin the moment."
"Fine. Let's talk about Christmas then." I said, pulling at the button of my gown, the heavy material making me hot.
He extended his arms out in the air and burst out in song, "I'm dreaming, of a white, Christ-"
I interrupted him, even though his voice is amazing, "We live in Australia, you won't get a white Christmas."
He shook his head at me in amusement, "You love to ruin things, don't you, Samantha?"
Taking off my gown, I gave him a look and changed the subject, "So are we riding together to the graduation party at Joe's tomorrow night?"
"Of course," he said. He looked up at the clear sky, the sun illuminating his cerulean blue eyes, "I'll be there at six."
"Awesome."
"Can I sing now?"
