New to school and ready to get the first day over with. However, its only the first day for him (considering he switched schools halfway though the school year). Why did Ian switch? Simple. He got bored. His last school was uneventful and classes were spent zoning off due to the lack of relevant information. Now he's just hoping this school will be different.

Pulling up to school I was happy to find a parking spot in the shade considering Florida weather would turn it into an oven throughout the day. It would suck to leave a hot and sweaty soccer practice just to sweat even more in my own car. I begin heading to my first period class as the parking lot starts to fill with more students.
Passing some people in the hall I think they start realizing the new kid. I hope I don't have to do those stupid introductions before class, what do they even expect you to say? Hi my name's Ian let me tell you my life story? Nah that's not really my thing. In reality I don't really do much. My mom tried buying me one of those "eat sleep and repeat shirts" I refused of course (1.it was in the woman's section , 2. not my color) but i wouldn't be surprised if she already has it wrapped and waiting for Christmas.
What building is this class even in? Maybe I should've explored when I picked up my schedule a couple days ago. Oh well. Do I have to go upstairs? this early in the morning? Everyday?! Hmmm I might have to switch schools again...
"You lost man?'
I turned to see a guy, friendly looking with brown hair. Maybe he could help me.
"Uh hey - yeah I think I'm looking for Mr. Murphy" the guys smile turns into a grin
"You're looking at him" he laughs
"You're a teacher?? You don't look much older than I am." we're about the same height, but seems to be a grade or so above me.
"Well I'm not a teacher, but my last names Murphy. His class is over here right before mine."
I look towards the direction we begin to walk in, sure enough its the right room number.
"My first names Abram by the way, but people call me Abe. Mr.Murphy has a nice ring to it too though, you new here?" he asks as we reach the door.
"Yeah- first day."
"Oh then you can sit with my friends and I at lunch if you want." he says
I didn't even think about the whole lunch situation yet. I could actually use a spot.
"Yeah actually that'd be great"
"Nice! Alright well I see you then...uh..?"
"Ian"
Abe nods in return and heads towards his class.
Finding my class? check. Meeting new people? done. First period? eh to be continued.
