Chapter 1

Emily's P.O.V

I was sitting in my room texting Luke when my phone just randomly died.

I groaned getting off my comfy bed to look for my phone charger. I couldn't find it in my room so I headed downstairs to see if I could find it there.

I couldn't find it in the living room so I checked the kitchen and there it was on the counter. I quickly grabbed and headed upstairs, but before I reached my room I heard  a crash that seemed to come from the basement.

Great the one night my parents leave me home alone something weird is happening. I thought to myself as I headed downstairs.

When I got to the basement there was literally glass everywhere.
Where the hell did the glass come from?
I quickly headed back upstairs to get something to clean this mess up.

When I got back everything was gone. What the fuck is happening? Am i seeing things? I walked over to the spot where the broken glass was, when a piece of paper caught my attention. I picked it up and read it.

You can't stay here anymore it's not safe! Run before they find you!

Hahaha! Is Abbie playing some stupid prank on me again? But hold on, if she's playing a prank on me, who can explain the shattered glass I found not less than five minutes ago?

But Abbie isn't even home, she's at her friends house. I stared at little piece of paper in my hands and noticed something written on the back. I flipped it over and read what was written on it.

You have to leave now! Or I'm coming to get you myself..

Okay...whoever this person is he/she is starting to scare me. Wtf I don't wanna die or be taken by someone.

I rushed upstairs and into my room and weirdly my phone was alive so I called the first person I could think of. I called Luke.

-Convo-

L: hey baby what's up?
E: Luke some crazy shit's happening in my basement can you come over please.
L: Woah Woah hold up babe what's happening?
E: I don't know Luke I'm scared please come over.
L: okay I'm on my way I'll be there in five ok?
E: ok please hurry
-End of Convo-

I sat there waiting anxiously for my boyfriend to show up tapping my foot forcefully on the hard wooden floor, scared to death as to what that little 'message' meant.

After a few minutes, Luke barged into my room, I jumped into his arms and held onto him so tight I thought my arms where gonna fall off.
"Shhh, it's okay baby I'm here" he whispered rubbing my back lightly.

He pulled me over to the bed and I sat me on his lap. "Okay now tell me what happened." he said

I explained everything to him from when my phone died and to finding this little notes on the floor.

"Wow, well I'm sure it's probably Abbie." he said poking my nose and I slightly laughed. "Yeah maybe" I smiled weakly not believing him.

"Can you stay the night?" I asked
"Anything for my girl." he said kissing cheek and I smiled.

I got off his lap and walked to my closet and grabbed a pair of sweatpants and one of Luke's shirts. I quickly changed and gave Luke a pair of sweatpants that he left here.

"You look good in my shirt." he said wrapping his arms around my waist from behind and lightly pecking my neck.
"Oh shut up and go change" I slightly pushed him into the bathroom.

He came back in just sweatpants and no shirt on and I couldn't help but stare at his nicely toned chest, making my cheeks turn a slight shade of pink at the sight in front of me.

"Like what you see?" He smirked
"Yes actually, I do." I said walking over to him and placing my hands on his neck and pulled him closer, he filled the gap between us and placed his soft lips on mine.

I pulled away and crawled into bed. He crawled in after me and wrapped his arms around my waist.

"Good night baby I love you" he whispered

"Goodnight Luke I love you too" I whispered back
