Emily P.O.V
My eyes fluttered open as sunlight came through the room. I sat up and rubbed my eyes, I looked around upon noticing the unfamiliar surroundings.
There was a soft brown wallpaper on the walls, the bed was in the middle of the room and on both sides of the bed there was a little nightstand. There was a desk facing the windows and next to them was a door that led to a balcony.
I got up and walked out of the room and into a hallway, at the end of the hallway was a staircase. I walked down the stairs and found myself in what seemed to be the living room.
"Shawn?" I asked looking around but not seeing any sign of him.
"Uh-yeah in here!" I heard him yell back.
I followed his voice and found myself in the kitchen.
He was standing by the stove flipping pancakes, he turned around and smiled at me. That's odd.
"Good morning, I hope you're hungry because I made us breakfast." he said putting a plate of pancakes in front of me.
"Uhh thanks, I guess?" I said but it came out more like a question.
He made himself a plate and sat down beginning to eat. We sat in awkward silence until he broke the unbearable silence. Thank You!
"Look I know I've been a douche to you these couple days but I just got mad at the fact that you wouldn't understand that you're in danger, but anyways this is my of saying that I'm sorry Emily and I want us to start afresh." he said looking at me waiting for my answer.
"Its okay and I'm sorry too for being a bitch towards you and I would love to start afresh as friends." I smiled sweetly at him and finishing my food.
After I was done I stood up and put my dirty plates in the sink.
"Hey umm I'm gonna go take a shower, any chance you know where my bags are because, to be honest, I don't even remember how I got in that room last night" I chuckled
" Oh..yeah well you fell asleep on the way here and I didn't want to wake so I brought you up to your room and I put your bags in the closet." he said.
I nodded and walked towards the stairs but once I took my first step I felt a sharp pain go through my whole body and stop at my shoulder blades causing me to fall to my knees and yell out in agony.
"Emily!" Shawn rushed to my side and crouched down next to me.
"Shawn it-it hurts, whats happening to me?" I cried out scratching at my shoulders trying to get rid of the horrible pain.
"Tell me where it hurts Em.." he said panic evident in his voice.
"My back, my shoulders, everywhere.."
Shawn
I looked at her back and that's when I saw the black veins moving around.
Oh, fuck this cant happen now it's too early!
"Whats too early?" She asked
Shit!
"Umm Emily I don't know how to say this but you're growing wings." I said looking down.
Her eyes widened and her mouth went agape.
"I'm doing what!?"
