1962. I don't know how this happened or why this happened. Nothing was making sense. But Deep down, I was actually thrilled to be there. I've always dreamed about going back to the 60's and meet the Beatles but I never thought it could actually happen.

I've been in love with the Beatles for as long as I can remember. It seemed that I was the only Beatles fan at my school but was always teased for liking them because they were, "Too old" and "Half of them are dead."

There were always those girls at school that would wear Beatles T-shirts and they couldn't even name one damn song by them.

As the group was playing I watched them in aw.  Cynthia and I danced and sung along to their music (A lot of it was cover songs of Chuck Berry and Elvis.) It was a thrill to be on the front row. All throughout the show I was making direct eye contact with John Paul and George. I couldn't quite see Ringo because I'm nearsighted  just like John. When they sang "This Boy" both Paul and George winked at me! I could get used to this!

Then I realized that the woman standing next to me and who let me get in the club with her was Cynthia Lennon, John Lennon's first wife. That's how I know her! How did I not recognize her before?

"Your Cynthia Lennon." I say thinking out loud, my eyes widened. She giggled. "One day I hope. But for now I'm just Cynthia Powell." She says practically yelling because of the music and screaming fans.

Paul finished singing "till there was you." Right after he finished, a man in the crowd out of nowhere, shouted, "We want Pete!"

Another girl joined in. "Yeah! We want Pete!" A few seconds later, a good amount of the crowd were yelling "We want Pete!" Over and over.

Pete..? Ah yes! Pete Best! Pete Best was the bands original drummer before Ringo. He was dismissed from the group because he was "Too Conventional for a Beatle." It broke countless fans hearts.

They must have just recently let him go.

"Yes everyone, we know that you want Pete." John says annoyed. "So It looks like that's our cue to leave, But before we do we'll leave you with this last song. This is a new song I just finished writing for the love of my life. I love you Cyn." He said looking directly at her. Cynthia's face lit up with excitement. The crowd settled down and John began to sing.

"There are places I remember all my life though some have changed some forever not for better some have gone and some remain..."

He's singing In My Life! I've been listening to this song sense I was little! It wasn't the same as the record though. It had more of a "Doo Wop" feel to it.

I started to sing along and sway to the music. Cynthia turned her head and looked at me in confusion. "How do you know this song? John just wrote it."

"Oh.." I tried to come up with an explanation. Shoot, what do I say? "I don't know it. I-I was just making up the words."

"Hmm..." She looks at me suspiciously. "Alright." She said smiling.

That was a close one.

"In my life I love you more." John finishes the song.

"Thank you all for coming out and seeing us tonight! We hope you have enjoyed the show. We're here everyday at 9:00 except Monday. Thank you very much you've been a grand bunch!" Paul says waving to the crowd then walking off with the other three boys following him.
