Chapter 2. The Black Widow

Ryan POV

"Shall we Begin"? I heard Agent Romanoff say to Alex

I was surprised she knew which one of us was Alex, usually people assume I'm Alex, because it's a boys name. I could tell Alex was surprised too.

"Yes we shall". Alex replied

Alex and the black widow got started on training. I can't believe Alex is having a training session with the black Widow. I knew Alex was good, a lot better than me but not that good.

I bet her dad would be proud, ever since Loki attacked SHIELD and killed Agent Coulson two years ago, she has worked very hard at training. She came very close to getting on a few special SHIELD teams, but because of the "incidents". She never made it.

*couple hours later*

Alex POV

Me and Agent Natasha had finally finished, was that ever hard.

"I guess Agent Dawson goes a little easy on me". I say to Natasha

She gives a small laugh.

"Well he shouldn't you aren't half bad". She tells me

"Thanks". I say with a smile

"But I do have one question", she says, "I was told you were Phil Coulson's daughter but I don't see any resemblance".

I take a deep breath, even though it has been two years since he died it's still hard to talk about my dad.

"He adopted me when I was a baby, Nick Fury and him found me at one of the SHIELD bases". I tell her.

"My dad always called me his little Miracle", I continued, "He had just lost his wife and his son Alex a couple months before he found me". hence my name Alex"

I gave a small smile.

"I'm sorry about your dad" she tells me

"I only wish I could have done something" I say

*16 years before*

"Coulson what are we going to do with her". asked Fury

"I'll keep her", said Coulson

* the little red head starts crying*

Coulson: "it's ok Alex it's ok

Daddy's here".
