Annabelle's POV
"Oh my god Harry!!!" I ran over to the groaning boy who was holding his head.
"What the hell Annabelle!" He spat rubbing his head.
"I didn't know it was you! Let me help you." I walked over but failing terribly as I tripped over the chair I threw down earlier which resulted in me flying and landing flat on top of Harry. But that's not the worst part, my knees hit his crotch, my elbows in his stomach, and my head hit his.
"OH MY GOD WHAT THE HELL." He yelled in pain.
"HARRY. OH GEEZ." I rolled off of him and he clutched his parts and curled into a ball. I know this is terrible, and I feel terrible about this, but I actually started laughing. Well not laughing, but giggling. I brought my hands up to mouth trying to muffle my giggles. He just laid there on the floor moaning. "Harry let me-"
"NO. You have done enough!" He grunted. Trying to pull himself up. I just stood back and watched as he managed to stand still holding his crotch.
"Does it hurt that bad?" I said quietly.
"Yes. It does actually." He said through clenched teeth. I grabbed the chair and set it up right.
"Here. Sit." I motioned to the chair.
"Thanks." He said in agony as he sat down carefully. I walked over to the counter and leaned against it. I noticed a bunch of pans and bowls and spoons everywhere. The bowls were full of dough and powder. "So what are you doing here this late anyways? And what's up with the sunglasses?" He finally calmed down.
"I could ask you the same thing mister. And what are you making at 2 in the morning?" I pointed to the bowls avoiding the sunglasses question taking them off.
"I cook when I'm blue." He said. I wonder why he's so upset that he's baking at two in the freakin' morning.
"What's got you down?" I looked him in the eyes. His eyes. Goodness.
"It's this girl." He looked down at his thumbs that he was playing with.
"Ooooh. Girl problems. I get ya." I let out a sigh. "What did the little lady do to you? It must be something big. Considering you know. You're baking at two in the morning." I pursed my lips at him waiting for his response.
He let out a sigh and began. "It's just, ugh, this is going to sound stupid."
"Tell me. I'm all ears." I leaned me ear towards him.
He just chuckled and continued.
Harry's POV
What was I going to say. The girl I'm talking about is her.
"She doesn't even realize i'm standing in front of her. Like, I don't exist. And I don't know how to show her I'm here." I sighed out looking up at her.
"Hmmm. I see your dilemma. She sat on the counter and leaned on her elbows. "How long have you known eachother?" She questioned.
"Not to long." That was a truthful response. I mean, it's been a good week and a half. It's not like I told her "a while". I couldn't let her know I was talking about her.
"Oo. I see. Well give her time. Chat her up more. Maybe do something. Like give her a gift or two. And not some cheesy shit. Give her something romantic and unexpected." She nodded at her own answer. Hmm. Romantic and unexpected? Like what? I don't even know.
"Okay. Thanks." I coughed as I stood up feeling the pain in my area.
"No problem kiddo!" She smiled at me. Ugh. Kiddo? Really? I let it slide and walked over to her.
