Annabelle's POV

"Barbara. I I I..." Harry stuttered looking at a very pissed off Barbara. We were still standing insanely close. I just stood there quietly staring at her with wide eyes. We were caught.

"Harry what are you doing here! And why is my kitchen a mess!" She shoved some bowls aside and put her purse down. "And Annabelle? What are you doing here?"

"I.. Um..." I scratched the back of my head trying to come up with an excuse.

"And what is going on here! Separate you two!" She shouted running over and pushed us apart. "Really! This isn't even your establishment! Have some respect!" She stomped her foot on the ground and put her hands on her hips.

"I'm sorry Barbara! I couldn't sleep and thought this place could calm me down. I've been so stressed with my aunt lately and it's just so hard." I dropped my head to the floor and whined. Hoping that she would believe my lie. She walked over to me and put her wrinkled hand on my shoulder.

"It's okay dear. I know it can be tough." She said quietly. Yes! She believed me! Thank god! "And what about you mister!" She raised her voice again running over to Harry and smacked the side of his head. "Why are you here!"

"I wanted to surprise you Barbara! Happy Birthday!" He gave her a cheeky grin and pointed to the cake.

She pursed her lips but couldn't hold back the smile. "You're such a dork." She grinned at him and pinched his bum. "My birthday isn't until March." She laughed shaking her head.

"Are we in trouble?" I asked softly.

"No you're not in trouble. But I have to give you some consequences. You did break in in the middle of the night."

"Technically I used a key." Harry raised his hands up in defense. She shot him a glare.

"So what are the consequences?" I asked.

"Just some late hours for two weeks. Oh, and on Saturday there's a charity bowling game for the elementary school that I need both of you to attend. You'll be running the concessions." She smiled at both of us. Two weeks? I have to work with this guy by myself for two weeks? Well at least he's cute. He likes some other girl. So it's not like anything will happen. Oh and there goes my Saturday night. Plus to add on to that I hate kids. They're so annoying. Screaming and running around everywhere. Not to mention they're ungrateful, loud, whiny, and have no respect. This should be fun.

"Alright, you two should get home. I'll clean up here. Annabelle you can have the day off I guess." She whispered in my ear and patted my back. I nodded and left. I went home and laid down and fell asleep.

DING DONG. DING DONG. I groaned and rubbed my eyes and looked at my clock. Oh my gosh I slept in till 2? What is wrong with me! DING DONG. Ugh, who the hell is here? I got up and yawned walking to my front door.

"What do you want." I looked at Niall standing in my doorway.

"Well hi to you too." He let himself in. And I closed the door behind him.

"What are you doing here?" I snapped tying up my hair in a bun.

"Well, I wanted to know if you were up to anything. Did you just wake up?" He looked me up and down.

"Yeah." I felt the blood rush to my cheeks.

"Why are you blushing?" He chuckled moving closer to me.

"I'm not!" I snuck past him and ran to my kitchen.

"So are you going to answer me?" He shouted from the living room.

"You didn't ask anything." I sat down at my dining room table and pulled my knees up.

"I asked if you were doing anything right now." He said walking into the kitchen and leaned against the counter.

"Not at the moment. But i'm not really looking to great at the moment." I motioned to my pajamas and messy hair and ungodly face.

"You look fine." He tilted his head looking at me.

"Don't lie." I glared at him.

"I'm not!" He threw up his hands in defense.

"Whatever. I'm gunna go take a shower. Find something to do I guess." I knew that wasn't the smartest move. But what was he gunna do? I had nothing to hide in my flat.

"Can I take a shower?"

"Sure whatever I guess." I said standing up. "WAIT NO." I realized what he was saying. "Stay down here." I pointed at him shooting a glare.

"Fine." He rolled his eyes and laughed. I walked upstairs and stripped and took a shower. Then I dried my hair and did my makeup. I walked downstairs only to see a very bored Niall who was sitting in an awkward position on my couch playing with a rubik's cube.

"So what are we doing?" I asked crossing my arms.

"It's a surprise." He smiled up at me and tried getting up. But failing and falling off the couch. I couldn't help but burst out laughing as he shot up from the ground as if nothing happened. "Are you ready?"

"Yeah" I said through my laughs. I grabbed my sunglasses and phone and walked outside. We walked to a little cafe and went up to order.

"Are you Niall Horan?" The barista stared at Niall.

"Why yes I am." He shot her a smile. "Can I get a vanilla macchiato?" He asked looking at the board and looked to me. "What do you want? It's on me."

"Uh can I have a green tea?" I looked at her.

"Is that all?"

"Can we get two pieces of coffee cake, a muffin, and a scone please?" He added. I looked at him shocked.

"Okay your total is 25.67" she grabbed his credit card and swiped it. We got our stuff and sat down.

"How did she know who you are?" I took a sip of my tea.

"Oh, uh, I don't know." He laughed nervously. What is he hiding? I let it slide and just continued to sip as he threw down the food. This kid could eat. "Are you ready to go?" He asked.

"Yeah, let's go." I picked up the trash and threw it away. We started to exit and I heard the girl yell behind us.

"Bye Niall!" She squealed. It was already 4 by the time we got out.

"So where are we going now?" I looked over at him as we walked on the sidewalk.

"I thought we could do something fun." He grinned at me.

"What are you-" I was cut off by him pointing at a warehouse. What the hell? This place looked so sketchy. I got a shiver up my spine as we walked towards it.
