Annabelle's POV
"What is it Harry?" I walked into the deserted hall.
"I, um, follow me." He grabbed my wrist and led me to the elevator. We got to the top floor and and then we went up some stairs and ended up on the roof.
"Oh my God." My jaw dropped as I stared out at all the lights of L.A. I walked to the edge of the roof and gazed at the bright city. My foot slipped and I was about to fall but Harry ran over and caught me. I quickly stood back up and we stood in an uncomfortable silence.
"Well, what I wanted to say was, here sit down." I realized he had lit candles while I was in awe. I sat down on a little wall and he sat next to me.
"What's going on Harry?"
"Um, I can't really tell you what's on my mind. It's hard, you know? So, i'm going to, uh, sing it to you." What is with these boys and serenading me? Can't they just speak normal to me? Or am I just that intimidating? He looked away from me and opened his mouth.
"Now you were standing there right in front of me,
I hold on, it's getting harder to breathe,
All of sudden these lights are blinding me,
I never noticed how bright they would be.
I saw in the corner there was a photograph,
No doubt in my mind it's a picture of you,
It lays there alone on it's bed of broken glass,
This bed was never made for two.
I'll keep my eyes wide open,
I'll keep my arms wide open"
He turned his head looked me in the eyes and took my hands.
"Don't let me,
Don't let me,
Don't let me go,
Cause i'm tired of feeling alone."
He looked so upset, his green eyes filled with fear and tears. He looked away from me again.
"I promise one day i'd bring you back a star,
I caught one and it burnt a hole in my hand.
It seems like these days I watch you from afar,
Just trying to make you understand.
I'll keep my eyes wide open yeah.
Don't let me, don't let me, don't let me go.
Cause i'm tired of feeling alone."
He stood up and stared into my eyes as his voice softened.
"Don't let me, don't let me, don't let me go.
Cause i'm tired of feeling alone.
Don't let me, don't let me go,
Cause i'm tired of sleeping alone."
He finished and looked down trying to hide the obvious fact that he was crying. I stood up and place my hand on his chest.
"I'm sorry Harry." I whispered and walked away. I felt his large hand on my wrist as it pulled me back to him. His eyes were closed, but when he opened them they were bright red.
"Don't go." He sobbed quietly.
"I have to."
"Don't you miss it? Miss us?" Tears cascaded down his face.
