Walking into Starbucks, I had know idea what I was getting myself into. Looking around I don't see Louis. So I just go order A grande Carmel Frapuccino with no whip.
About 15 minutes went by and no sign of Louis anywhere. By the time I decide to leave, he walks through the door.
"So sorry I'm late." He says coming over and sitting down.
"Yeah, late is like 5 or 6 minutes not 15-20." I said back, looking at him. Okay I know I don't need to be rude right now, because he's actually going to tell me what I've been wanting to know for the past week now.
"Whatever." Louis mumbled
"Okay Louis what's going on?" I asked
"Do you want to know all of it? Or what" do I really want to know everything over just about Jack?
"Everything, from the day Niall stopped talking to me, tell now!"
"Okay here goes nothing." Louis puts his phone down.
"So in 3rd grade when i moved here, I meet Niall. Some kid came up to you and started picking on you?" He asked, thinking back I do remember that time. I thought he was going to hurt me.
"Yeah I do remember." Louis smiled
"And Niall came running up to help. He pushed the kid on the ground, I came running up to make sure you were okay. Well on the other hand Niall was beating him up." Thinking about that day, I remember it all now.
They walked me home to make sure I was goin to be okay when I got home. They ended up staying the entire day. That was the last time I ever talk to them.
"Louis I remember it. What does that have to do with this?"
"Well when we were walking back from your house, that kid stopes us. That's how Niall broke his arm. He told Niall to stay away from you. And if he doesn't he would hurt you really bad." Louis stopes to think.
This is all so weird for me to think about, really.
"Niall of course didn't listen and talk to you the next day. That's when Niall broke his arm for no reason, it was a warning. He was so sure nothing would happen to you. Niall was a good friend like that. But I talk him into not talking or hanging out with you."
Louis looked at me waiting for me to say something. "I don't know what to say. This is a lot to take in, why didn't you guys just go tell someone. We were only in 3rd grade."
"Yeah I know but that's it we thought , we had it. And when he never picked on you again Niall knew he was doing the right thing."
"Okay what does Jack have to do with all this." I asked him
"Niall asked Jack to start hanging out with you. To like keep an eye on you."
So are friendship wasn't anything. This is to much for me. Looking up at him I see someone walking over. It was Harry?
"It must of been easy then." I said
"What are you talking about easy?" Louis asked looking at me weirdly.
"Cutting me out of his life."
"No it wasn't. He cried for weeks about it. How you probably hate him. That's why he never tried to talk to you after grade 6."
"I didn't hate him. I hated myself" I membered looking down
"What?"
"Why grade 6?" I lied, I wasn't going to tell him.
"That's when he moved. And then Harry came, you started to get really close with Jack. He just thought you were happy."
"He was really wrong"
No one said anything after that. Just thinking about last six years, how everything changed. I didn't notice I was in such deep thought until it looked up. Louis was talking to Harry.
"Are you okay Lilly?" Harry asked me, why wouldn't I be okay?
"Um yeah I'm fine. Why?"
"You're crying love." He walks over and wipes me eyes. I didn't even notice I was crying.
"Oh um yeah everything is okay." I look at Louis, "thank you for telling me, I really appreciate it."
"Do you need a ride home?" Harry asked?
"Yeah that would be great." I smiled at him. I don't feel like walking home.
