Chapter 1

Maya is Rileys best friend they've been best friends since they were 6. They always play together, share secret to one another and just have each other back when one of them are falling.

" Riley lets play on the park" Maya said, while grabbing Rileys hand."Yeayy ok lets go" they were already out of the door.

"Josh go with them, it would be fun" Corey said to Josh. "ok" Josh said. Josh is Rileys uncle and Josh came to New York for holidays with his girlfriend, Briana. Josh is only 3 years older from Riley and Maya. Apparently Maya have crush on Josh, a really really big one but Josh reject Maya because he thought that 3 years is to much a gap on a relationships. But Maya never give up.

Riley and I was walking to the park, while we walked Riley was talking about our dearest huckleberry Riley want to talk to him but every time they have the time the only thing they do is "Hello, Hi" and then they just look into each other's eyes and they both just smile. Instead of talking about huckleberry I change the topic about how will it feels like in high school although I hate school but I think it would be kind of fun. Please don't tell anyone.

We were nearly at the park. "Riles, lets race to the swings" I said. "ok you're on" Riley said. "Ready, set, go!" I said. I tried to win but riley is much faster then me and one of the reasons is I hate anything to do with P.E. and Riley LOVED anything to do with P.E. so I guess she has much practice on running not like me, I practice vertical running instead.

"Maya, push meee" Riley said.

"Ok, get ready peaches hold on tight" I said. I push so hard until she was really high up in sky.

"WEEEEE, haha the wind tickles me" Riley said while laughing. She was so happy and it looks like a lot of fun.

"My turn, My turn" I said like a six years old kid.

"let me push you" Josh said.

I was shocked and I give a glare at Riley and it looks like Riley was surprise too.

I just look into Rileys eyes and we can just talk with our eyes. "Riles how could he be here?" I said with my eyes. "I didn't know I swear mom and dad didn't tell me that he's going to come to New York" Riley said with her eyes. "ok then go talk to him" I said with my eyes. "you're not mad at with me are you?" Riley said. "no go" I said . she give me a sad stare. I broke the eye contact and just smile to Josh.

"Uncle josh.." Riley said while running to hug josh.

"Rileyyy" Josh said while hugging Riley.

When Riley finished hugging Josh I run and went hugging Josh.

"Uncle Josh.." I said while smiling.

"I'm not your uncle Maya" Josh said

"Even better" I said and just smile.

We all went back to Riley's apartment and before I could talk to Josh, when Riley open the door there she is Briana, Josh girlfriend sitting on the couch like its hers.

"Hi guys" Briana said

"Hi babe" Josh said.

Riley and I just role our eyes and I feel anger building up because 1. I feel jealousy 2. Briana is such an actress. Riley realized my anger so she took me to our bay window. Where we share our feelings, our secret, pour our hearts out. Riley put me on my spot on the left corner where the out window is.

"Maya are you ok?" Riley asked.

"Yea, I just can't stand that little face in front of my face" I said.

"She's really good at acting" Riley said

"of course Riless, she got much practice on drama lessons " I said.

"well ok, I'm just going to go downstairs and ask mom if Josh and Briana going to stay here" Riley said.

"ok" I said.

Ok let me tell you something, Riley and I HATE Briana. Well hate is big word but sure can describe how much we dislike Briana. Here's a thing about Briana. Briana is a lovely and nice just in front of Josh because when Josh is not around she treat us like her maid. She tell us to massage her, bring her food, and the most thing that I hate is that she said really mean stuff to us. She said that Riley and I is worthless, ugly and the most mean thing she did was telling Riley to stop smiling, stop being the happiest person alive, stop being herself. And I HATE her for saying that well I hate her in person. You see, she can tell me I'm ugly, worthless anytime she want because I knew it already and I am stronger then she thinks I am but Riley on the other hand is a strong girl but not really strong when it comes to words that cut down to your heart and slice it until its tin.

I tried to tell Josh but he doesn't understand it when I told him his reaction was "haha Maya she would never do that" well if she would never do that why did she do that then and why would I told you this then? I tried to open Josh eyes that Briana is a bad person but it always end up nothing.
