I took my phone from the end of my bed, I look at my phone and Lucas name flashing.
"Hello what's up cowboy" I said, teasingly.
"Josh, I have bad news" Lucas said.
"Are you asking for relationship advice from the expert?" I said, while wiggling my eyebrows.
"No, not today, its more serious than that, it's about Maya" Lucas said.
As soon as Lucas mention Maya's name my body got tense.
"What happen?" I said.
"That bastard, said he was sick today so Maya went to his house, being a kind girlfriend she is and apparently he was cheating with Missy." Lucas said
I stand up and just wondering all over the place
"Where were you?! I thought I teach you to protect my woman" I said
"I'm sorry, I ask Maya many times if she want me to stay, but she refuse and told me to hangout with my woman, so I did but 5 minutes later she called me and ask me to pick her up so I did" Lucas said
"When my car was on the around about of the bastard's house, Riley and I saw Maya devastated, crying and lying on the floor. Riley was devastated to Maya heartbroken so she came up with a plan to give the bastard and the b*tch a lesson of life, I want to say that your niece really give the bastard the lesson because she literally punch the guy 3 times and when she finish, the guy face was a mess. I punched him because apparently Maya was a bet" Lucas said.
"ARE YOU JOKING?! But, thank you Lucas, I wish I could be the one that punch that bastard or even kill him but she hates me know" I said
"She's just afraid to open up to you Josh, I heard that the Matthews have a mission to stole Ms Hart-Hunter heart I just want to tell you I support you man" Lucas said.
"Thank you man, Its just sad that 3 years ago she admitted that she like me in front of you guys and now she hate my guts. 3 years ago she'll be the cute little ferret that won't leave me alone and I'll be the one who try to avoid any contact of her of all times, and now I'm the one who is so desperate to get notice by their idols" I said
"My world get turned upside down" I said
"Man, she's a wonderful person she just got hurt to many times it's hard to trust people" Lucas said.
"I need to go, I need to talk to my woman, I hope the Matthews mission goes to what had planned" Lucas said.
"Ok, talk to you later" I said
I end the call.
I sit on the end of my bed and think...
Wait a minute!! I remember 3 years ago when I was staying over, Maya give me a book, and I remember that she said she wrote me a song and I'm pretty sure I kept the book hidden here somewhere.
I walk to the drawers and open each one of them one by one.
After opening 4 different drawers I finally find the book on the very bottom right side of the drawers.
The book is brown, it has Maya's songs book on the middle of the book.
I looked through the book, the first page was about Riley's and Maya's friendship called seamless.
After seaming through the pages, I found the song that she wrote about me.
On that page there's a picture of us hugging that Shawn took 3 years ago.
The song that Maya wrote is Too young.
I took my guitar and started singing the song.
When I sing this song it reminds me of everything about Maya, how her blue eyes sparkle, how her beautiful blonde hair shine, how her laugh bring smile to everybody's face.
I got carried away.
"You still have the book?' a cute voice said.
I open my eyes and there's stood, the blonde beauty..
"Yeah.." I said, while messing my hair.
Josh calm down, act cool.
"I thought you burn that after I left" Maya said.
"I wouldn't do that, not the stuff that you gave me" I said
"Why Josh, why did you comeback now" Maya said, while staring at me.
"I come back because I want to know how's your life and the others" I said.
"You never come visit us these 3 years and now you came back, was I too annoying? Was I too desperate? I'm sorry for my behaviours that drift you away from your family" Maya said.
Wait, what? Did she think that I hated her that I never come to New York? Sure I always seem to avoid her but back then I have this feeling that I kind of like it when Maya do really annoying cute stuff, like jumping on my back, calling me uncle boing, Oh my little ferret... JOSH STOP she doesn't like you anymore.
I sit next to Maya, I lift her chin so she can look at me face to face.
"Maya, no I didn't visit NYC because I haven't have enough money or time to come over not because of you.. please don't EVER think that because of you I didn't want to come to my brother's house" I said.
A smile appears into her beautiful face, I can see sparkles on her eyes, those deep blue eyes.
"Why don't you call me uncle boing anymore? Am I not attractive enough?" I said, teasingly.
"yea, you're attractive factor decrease since you don't hangout with me anymore" Maya said.
"Then if I hang out with you do I get to redeem my hotness?" I said, while wiggling my eyebrows
"Hahaha, depends" Maya said
"Since tomorrow is Saturday, how about I plan day out for us" I said
"Ok, but where?" Maya said
"it's a surprise" I said
I have a perfect plan for us to hangout where I can make Maya happy, I really hope I can redeem the trust that I used to have from her.
