The wonders of being sick..

I woke up to a pounding head. Damn it feels like it will explode any minute.
I opened my eyes and I covered them immediately with my pillow.

"Eve Eve Where are you ?" Someone said.

I tried to tell in my room but my throat was too sore.
Someone entered and removed my pillow. I squeezed my eyes shut and opened my eyes to see Ty hovering above me.

"Ty tired" I barely mumbuled two words.

"Eve you are burning" He said in a worried voice touching my forehead.

"I'll be back just stay here don't move" Ty said.

Yes Ty I can't move an inch and I'll run up the hills feeling like this.
He went downstairs returning with a worried Beth.

"Oh my darling, keep it in for a minute okay" she came and put a thermometer in my mouth. I nodded.

She took out the thermometer.
"It's 103° Eve that much how?" Beth said.

I wish I knew too Beth. She went downstairs telling Ty to stay with me.
I wave of nausea hit me. I scrunched up my face. Ty understood and bought a basket.
I puked my guts out as he held my hair and moved his hand on my back in soothing motions.

"Bathroom Ty" He nooded and held me as I stood up.
I washed my hands and brushed my teeth very slowly while Ty stood beside me holding me the whole time.
When I was done he carried me to the bed lay me down and covered ne with pillows and a large duvet. Removing my hair from my face.
I looked at him. Damn I am lucky to have a best friend like this.
I smiled at him he looked so worried.
As on cue Beth rushed in with a tray holding cool clothes to put on my forehead and a chicken soup.
She put clothes on my forhead and told Ty to head to school.
That was merely a try as if he would move an inch leaving me. We have been like this always whenever one of us get sick the other one stay even though sometimes we catch eachothers virus and in the end both end up bwing sick.
Yup we are simply mad like that.
Ty shook his head and Beth sighed.
Beth gave me some medicines and I fell into darkness again.

I woke up to a lot of noises as if a lot of people were whispering.
I opened my eyes slowly.

"Hey Eve you are finally awake" Ty said burshing my hair away from my face.
I smiled at him and looked around all of them were here even Nate.
I got up to sit straight with Ty's help.

"Hey everyone" I said in a hoarse voice.
They laughed I glared.

"Very funny guys laughing at a sick person" I said Ty gave me some water and then Waniya took his place.

"We got the usual get well soon remedy Eve" Wniya said flinging the dvds in front of my face.

"Eve please the terminators" said James begging me.

"No Eve spomgebob" said Ty

"Eve frozen please" Waniya whined.
Nate looked at us confused I laughed at his reaction.

They all turned to Nate following my gaze.

"We watch a cartoon movie so that the one who is sick totally feels like a kid and sits to rule and enjoy without complaning of being treated like a kid" James explained to Nate.

"Uh really?" Nate said

"Yup" Shane said.
Then we back to fighting over the movies.

"Where is my Pokemon?" I asked.

"We threw it away we are tired of it" I glared.

"You guys are mean" I said.

"Fine then lets watch Terminators" I said.

James and Shane cheered. They all found places in my room. On the cluch bed been bag or on the rug.
Ty placed the movie in the Dvd and the same time Beth came with cookies snacks for them and my chicken noodle soup.
Nate said on one side of my bed and other side was taken by Ty. It's an usaid rule that Ty takes the seat by my side.
We dimmed the lights and the movie played. Ty eventually slept followed by James, Shane and Wan.
The movie finished I looked around. They all were sound asleep.

"They all were really tired I guess" Nate said besides me I smiled.

"Yeah they had a long day. Ty took care of me the whole day" I said.
I got up.

"You coming Nate" I asked.

He got up and followed me. I went to the attic and climed out the window where a blanket was set. With pillow and dubets.

"Woha a nice hideout place" Nate said. Looking over it

"Yeah this is my and Ty's place look there that's his part" I pointed at the attic in front of mine his place set the same place as mine. We lied down and looked above the stars.

"So this is what you guys do when you get sick" Nate asked.

"Yeah pretty much. We don't have much of family around so me and Ty take care of eachother. At first it was only me and Ty. He brightened my day on sulking day" I said smiling

"Eventually the whole gang came around and we delicated the day to the sick person" I said looking above.

"You make it seem like being sick is good" Nate said. I laughed

"No no it's pretty bad but bewteen us being sick along it's sulking has some wonders" I said.

"Like being five years old again watching cartoons having snacks" I said.

"You guys are really different" Nate said smiling.

"That's what we are and I am lucky to have them" I smiled.
Just looking at the stars above I fell asleep.
