Jax's face showed pure craziness. I knew I was done for. I couldn't speak. All my words were help back and being twisted in the pit of my stomach.

"Bye bye Sora," Jax whispered in my ear, as he picked me up and carried me through the house.

"Jax..." I was quickly interrupted by a loud sound of a basement door creaking it's way open.

The basement was cold and dark. The only things visible were a large metal table, from what seems like bottles of medicine, and a syringe.

Panicked, I struggled to escape, but was quickly slammed down to the metal table. My head was throbbing with pain as Jax strapped me down.

"Why are you doing this?!" I screamed, not sure of what else to say.

I got no answer. He was too busy filling the syringe with a blue liquid. I was done for.

"This won't hurt much, okay Sora?" He grinned and stuck the syringe in my arm, pushing in the liquid. I suddenly felt dizzy, and I could no longer feel the cold table, or hear the small click of Jax's nails against the table. My vision began to blur out, and then, my mind when blank. I was out.

I woke to the sound of the strong wind and snowflakes landing on my face. I attempted to open my eyes, and froze in shock to see a man leaning over me with confused, green eyes. I just stared back, gripping my cold snow in my palm.

"Who are you?" He said, cocking one eyebrow.

Apparently this man didn't know what personal space was, but for some reason, I didn't seem to mind. He was kind of beautiful in a way - in my way. He had a bloody bandage over his right eye and another one around his left hand. He was dressed lightly, in a black hoodie and blue t-shirt. His eyes were green - like mine - and his hair was jet black and wavy at the top.

"H-Hi," I managed to spit out. My voice was cracked and my throat was sore. I just want to know what the hell happened last night.

"I see you have a little problem there," He pointed to my head and I placed my hand gently on my head and winced slightly, pulling away to see the tip of my fingers covered in blood.

"I'm fine," I lied, sitting up. I looked back at the small pool of blood soaked into the snow behind me as my head throbbed in pain.

"Here," He pulled me up quickly and stood close to me, "I can fix that. If you want."

I stared at him in silence. Would I really be so stupid to go off with some random guy after what just happened?

"Yeah. Sure."

Dammit.

He walked me to his nice black Ram truck and opened the door for me.

We rode in silence, and I finally decided to make a conversation.

"What happened to your eye?" I heard him chuckle slightly.

"There was an incident at my job," He said. He gave me a small, sexy smirk and put his hand on my knee.

We finally stopped at a nice log cabin in the middle of the woods. Right next to it, I could see two beautiful horses playing in the barn.

We entered the house, and I immediately noticed the gushy couple sitting on the couch.

"That's my brother and his wife. Just ignore them," he said as he led me to the bathroom.

He pulled out the peroxide and some cotton balls and worked on my wound.

"How did this even happen?" He questioned.

"Don't ask. I have no clue. I'm so confused. Someone I thought I loved... Tried to kill me." My throat burnt just thinking of this.
